The Berry Inn

Hotel room was filthy. From floors to walls, blankets and towels.

Supposed none smoking area was smelling not just cigarette but mariguana other than that it was OK

Worst experience. Everything was dirty no remote window didn’t close no towels when asked said there was no available. Canceled 10 mins after checking in.

The pictures do not accurately represent the facility at all. Our room was supposed to be smoke free, but reeked of cigarettes. There were brown stains on the shower curtain, a hand print on the bathroom wall, the bed was uncomfortable and thought it was going to break. Then in the hallway to our room, we noticed a few places that looked like pools of blood stains. There was no room with coffee like the pictures showed. The pool/spa were closed due to them waiting on the health department. Any questions asked to the front desk were answered with an attitude. And lastly, upon checking out and leaving, 3 cop cars pulled up. We got out of there before anything happened. If I could've found a different room in time, I would've canceled that room.

We liked nothing about this property. The best thing to say is that it was close to where we needed to be and the gentleman checking us in was pleasant.

The hotel is very run down and unclean. The floors were sticky and we had to call for towels, which the man working there (who was the only good part of our stay) brought us a small stack of well-used, thrift store quality ones to our room. We were given a second story room with a window overlooking a biker bar next door. The bikers would fire up and rev their engines for several minutes before leaving the back parking area, which shook the room. The floors were sticky with some type of cleaner residue and the walls were patched up but not properly finished / sanded like a hotel with any pride would maintain a room. There was a mountain bike dumped off in the hallway of the second story blocking the walking area. Several walls and doors were in need of paint and signage which appeared to be damaged but not repaired. The place had an old odor. We thought "Rodeway Inn near Knott's... close to the park without many last-minute options in the area due to the Boysenberry Festival.. let's give it a try". After checking in due to Hotel.com's rating system (which I'm really starting to question after a couple of previous dumps with good ratings) we had dinner down the street, a family meeting and went back to the room to gather our luggage and drive all night home to Las Vegas. My nine-year-old son didn't want our vehicle stolen. We left without a refund and very disappointed. No Knott's visit for our son, the main reason we made a last-minute choice to stay in the area.

The location was fantastic.. as clean as expected. King size bed wasnt superb but comfortable enough to rest well. Definitely needs paint and an update but the staff was kind and helpful.

Terrible experience. Desk clerk barely made eye contact. Woman smoking and drinking alcohol on the steps to my room. Blankets torn/holes. Room telephone out of service. No answer at front desk when using our cell phone to call. Ice from ice machine had black substance, maybe mold. Beds were uncomfortable and noisy. Lots of people loitering around in front of building. Door security chain missing. In general, felt dirty and unsafe.

I need my money back. I did not use the expedia reservation because they didn't have it. Need my reimbursement for the money u guys took out.
