The Berry Inn

Good location to Knott’s but the beds are hard and you hardly sleep. Right now they are renovating which they didn’t tell us and construction started at 730am

It was very quiet and comfortable. But there wasn't a coffe pot or anything for coffee or hot tea.

Room was clean but construction work from 8AM to 5PM. constant hammering and buzzsaw made it very noisy. No naps during the day.

Our stay here was great! Short walk to Knotts Berry Farm and close to subway, Mcdonalds Ihop and a few other restaurants. It looks like they are trying to renovate and update the hotel. We had a room that had hardwood floors and what seemed like new paint. Was a perfect place to stay and sleep for our trip to Knott's. Would definitely stay there again.

If you like mentally ill people lurking around the parking lot, trash bags full laying in hallways for over a day, black mold, and cockroaches in your room this is definitely the place for you. It was like a homeless encampment outside and a squatter crack house inside with people screaming at all hours of the night. It was a great education to keep my kids away from doing drugs and staying in school. The pool was brown, oil dripping down the walls, blood stains on our door, yellow spots on the sheets, sticky floors in the room, hairballs on the floor, and the rule of if you don't complain about it all within the first 10 mins after getting your keys no room transfer or refund... This place should be condemned....

I didn't particularly like the location (strange people in the parking lot) or clientel that I saw and decided not to stay the night

It was a close walking distance from Knott’s Berry Farm after the New Year’s event. Kept us from needing to drive.

The pictures online shows a great place. Not so much when in person. Breakfast was basic. The room needed a little maintenance. People at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Room service was good.

Very dirty. Trash everywhere outside. The rooms were not clean, closet doors were broken, holes in the wall, dust and dirt on the floors. The rooms also smelled terrible. I’d called and ahead to inquire on breakfast and was told it was a full breakfast. Yeah right. There was bread, cereal, honey buns and drinks. That’s it. Will never return. Spend $25 more a night and stay elsewhere.

The hotel is in terrible condition. I will never stay here again. I used their community restroom first thing before we headed to Knotts, it was absolutely disgusting. I had to squat, I didn’t want my bottom to touch the toilet. I didn’t even wash my hands it was so nasty inside. As I was walking through past windows, most of the screens were broken or bent. Then when we came back in the afternoon, our room at a quick glance was okay but when we looked further it was in terrible condition. They did a half assed renovation. First, the floors were sticky, the closet doors didn’t work right, the dresser was falling apart, an electrical socket was broken (totally unsafe). Then our “clean” sheets had nasty stains on them. Don’t stay here! I am an optimistic person and I wasn’t expecting perfection, but this place is bad. The only good thing is the staff, they were pleasant.
