Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sheraton Maldives, and a big part of this amazing experience was thanks to Anastasia. She took exceptional care of our entire group, including our children, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Anastasia was professional, attentive, warm, and always available whenever we needed anything. Her attitude, dedication, and positive energy truly stood out and made our vacation stress-free and memorable. She handled everything with great professionalism and genuine care, and it was clear that she loves what she does. We felt very well looked after at all times. I wholeheartedly recommend Anastasia to anyone staying at the resort. She is a real asset to the Sheraton team and played a huge role in making our stay unforgettable. The all staff was very good, specially Mr. Jamal uddin.. He is a so nice person,his service is awesome.. He was so helpful,friendly and appeared to enjoy their job.. The resort was so beautiful, nice natural view,room was so clean,food also good.. I really recommended other person to go there and take a trip adviser like jamal uddin because if u got jamal uddin your trip must be good..

Our stay at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa was absolutely wonderful. Everything was excellent from the warm reception to the beautiful resort and high-quality services. The food was very diverse and delicious, offering a wide variety of options for all tastes. Customer service was very good overall, and special thanks to Lynn, who was extremely helpful, cooperative, and supportive throughout our stay. The New Year’s Eve arrangements were simply amazing — well organized, festive, and truly memorable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and exceptional Maldives experience.

We loved our experience at Sheraton. I chose this resort due to the proximity to the airport knowing in advanced we were traveling with a toddler this time around. After a day of traveling, I did not want to have to take a long boat ride to the resort. Despite what other reviewers mentioned of the city views, we did not mind it and it did not affect our overall experience. The wait was not super long upon arrival for the boat transfer. Another perk is we did not have to pay for transfer since the resort owns the boat and didn’t have to outsource it out especially if you decide to stay at a more secluded island. We received a nice cool towel on the boat, very nice touch after a long flight. Check in was smooth and welcoming drinks were offered. We were transported in a golf cart to our beach bungalow. We stayed in room 315 initially but it had a moldy smell. After complaining we were moved to room 307 the next day. The smell was less prominent there but nevertheless it was manageable. My only complaint about the room is the phone was never cleaned properly. Every time you pick it up to make a call, it smelled like bad breath. Something for housekeeping to take note of. Overall the resort is well maintained and very pretty. The beaches are nice and water calm. We also liked the pool and kiddie area at the pool. I like how you have options to go to different beach locations and there wasn’t just one main beach. The food was great-one of our favorite was the Mexican place for lunch. Dinner buffets were better some nights than others. We enjoyed the breakfast selection. We appreciated the head chef (forgot his name but it begin with N I think). He was super accommodating and made our picky toddler a special meal so he could eat properly. All the servers were nice and friendly. No one had an attitude. You can tell the staff is well trained and accustomed to dealing with foreigners. I do recommend paying for full or half board as food prices tend to be higher in island countries. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth. If I had to complain about anything it would be for management to be more watchful of people at the buffets. A lot of travelers who aren’t used to eating at buffets will reuse their plates. We saw on several occasions people bringing the same plate to refill their food not knowing they need to grab a clean plate each time. I would also recommend everyone getting hand sanitizer upon entering all restaurants. Some people just have bad hygiene and habits and you don’t know where their hands have been. A little hand sanitizer will help prior to dealing with communal food areas. This was one of the best family friendly resorts we’ve ever stayed at. They even have utensils and plates for kids, a nice touch I’ve never seen anywhere else. The staff also genuinely likes kids and you can tell with their interactions. We loved our week long vacation here and will definitely come back in the future!

I went to this resort from the 18th of December to Christmas Eve and oh my god, this resort got everything right down to the last minute detail, the food is amazing, the rooms and outdoor shower looked amazing, clean and staff was especially nice and very friendly, of them is a waiter at Kakuni hut restaurant at the beach side named Eymen, he was the most friendly, outgoing, professional person you could meet, he was relatable, fun and never afraid of cracking a few jokes, he was extremely dedicated to his work, doing everything possible to make things perfect, he is like an older brother not just to me but to other guests and ( from what I heard) his colleagues too, no matter how tired he is, he never once failed to crack a smile. That is what tells you about the hardworking staff in the whole resort who are so dedicated to making your experience, the best experience. Aside from the amazing staff, there were stacked events, such as local dance night, kids karaoke, color run , trivia's and way more that had not only kids, but adults take part. The hotel gives you snorkeling equipment to have a look at the the beautiful fishes and coral reefs. Overall the experience is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity if you have an expandable budget

Our stay at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa was made extra special because of Jamal Uddin. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and always made sure everything was perfect for us. His warm attitude truly made a difference in our trip. A big shoutout to the Bangladeshi staff at the resort as well they were all so welcoming, respectful, and hardworking. They really deserve appreciation for their amazing service. We’re very grateful for such a lovely experience.

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort. In short, it was a fantastic holiday for 4 of us. Had some trouble pre-arrival as there was some issue with our booking via the Marriot Bonvoy app, which was settled professionally between us and the reservation team, led by Shaikh. Skipping to our arrival, the boat pick-up was smooth with someone with Sheraton signage will be waiting for you at the airport arrival gate. Few mins walk then we arrive at the jetty where the resort's boat will ferry us for about 10-15mins to the island. At Welcome Centre, we were greeted and checking in was smooth, though we arrived earlier than the normal check-in time. Worth noting that we were upgraded to Ocean View villa, thanks to the Management again for this. We were also assigned with a Connector throughout our 5 nights stay where all communications were via Whatsapp with the assigned Connector to arrange all our bookings and attending to our enquiries. Room and facilities were well kept and maintain, though we could see some signs of ageing, but periodic maintenance really helped to keep the resort fresh. Kudos to the housekeeping & engineering team. F&B options were sufficient to keep your tummy full with the ever attentive service team. They will always keep a smile and that really makes the experience pleasant overall. We spent most of our meal time at the Anchorage, where we were attended by Mr. Layaan. He's a gem. Pool area is huge enough, no issue in getting lounge chairs. Plenty of options to relax and unwind. However our villa's pool tiles seems to start to chip-off, so that would require some maintenance. Other than that no issue with the pool. The beach and snorkeling experience was truly memorable. Guests given life vests and luckily we brought our own snorkeling gear so it was easy for us to not needing to rent. We could snorkel basically anywhere around the island, just that need to be careful with the current, so gotta watch out at what time and place that suits an easy snorkel especially with young kids. All and all, It was a fantastic holiday for us 2 adults and 2 young kids. Would love to come back again as we prefer those resorts that doesn't require a seaplane travel. Truly Sheraton experience. Took romantic escape with halfboard package. It was worth it as it included breakfast and dinner and we got to choose which restaurant that we wanted, as there are plenty of them. On top of that we were given a free 2 hours session at Shine SPA plus a special degustation dinner / fine dining at Sea Salt SPA. That was really special as it highlighted our 20th anniversary celebration. Return speedboat villa was also provided and they have already well planned in advance according to our arrival and departure date and time. We stayed at over water villa. Fantastic view surrounded by pristine and blue water of Maldives ocean! And our unit is very near to the main area (restaurants, water sports counter, shops and lobby). Gym opened 24 hours and is very convenient if you are a regular gym user. Ms Lynn who was our PIC and hotel assistant was very helpful, also very fast to respond to solve any issue. She is very handy as always be in touch, providing us with upcoming programs so that we would not miss any interesting / fun hotel activity.

This is not Maldives that you could be dreaming of. If you expect even to see same as at the picture that hotel presents so it will be much less nicer in reality. Lots of views of the city and ships, beach where you can’t even swim except some areas only. During 24h I changed 3 rooms and all rooms have bad AC smell so it looks like the hotel doesn’t maintain it in the right way. I stayed in other hotels in Maldives I didn’t face this issue. 2 rooms of 3 had dirty sports on sofa. 1 room was outdated. Just the last third room was nice, clean and with nice smell. I had to move 2 times because rooms were really bad. I even wanted to ask for a refund and leave to another island even I was staying for 1 night only. It’s cheaper than other hotels but don’t expect to see amazing Maldives resort. It will be middle scale average resort with average rooms and average views and waters. Besides you will hear airplanes because it’s close to the airport. Food was nice, not super delicious but nice. What I really liked was the best money value for the dinner buffet at the main restaurant in Maldives. Price was not high compared to other resorts but with lots of varieties. Chefs did their best to make a great buffet. Service was also amazing at the main restaurant for dinner buffets or breakfast buffets. Quality of food wasn’t excellent but quite okay. Thai restaurant. Food was amazing and delicious but service wasn’t good at all. No one met me when I came in. The table wasn’t really reserved for me, I was just in the list (I booked a table in advance). Lady with blue contact lenses was not really friendly, another lady was so kind and more attentive. I had an issue with my bill by the end of the dinner. The buggy was not waiting for me but employees said it’s waiting for me at the stop. So service was not good but food was delicious. Thanks to chef of the Thai restaurant a lot. Housekeeping team is ok but even if dirty spots on sofas are fine for Sheraton. The rest is ok. Most of employees were really nice, helpful, kind, with smiles and they did their best to solve my issues. But overall experience after changing 3 rooms, awful smell from ACs, dirty spots in rooms, having many issues during 24h, not nice quality of food (except Asian restaurant), bad views and bad beach experience, I can’t recommend it.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Sheraton Maldives. The room location was excellent — very close to the beach and the bar, which made everything extremely convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast offered a great variety with plenty of choices each morning. A special mention to Nazugum and Aida at the Feast restaurant — they were absolutely lovely and made our experience even more pleasant. The staff throughout the resort were genuinely friendly and welcoming. I would especially like to thank Anastasia, who took great care of us during our stay and ensured everything was smooth and comfortable. Overall, a relaxing and memorable experience. I would be happy to return again.
