It had a convenient location, just 10 minutes from Male by a speed boat ( but also notice that in this case you would hear the airplanes in case if you are a light sleeper), for us it was perfect, giving us security since we were close to the city. The island itself is extremely green, walkable by bare foot. The rooms were spacious, stuff incredibly friendly and detail-oriented. Meanwhile, I will mention as well what I did not like. During the check-in period, we were waiting for a butler for about 20 minutes, which is a big red flag. You know in advance how many guests you will have, you had to arrange it smoothly before their arrival. We were transferring there from another island, even tho, they were informed by another hotel + by us, nobody came to take us from the other speed boat to be transferred to theirs, we found them by ourselves. Their reservation team is quite slow, they answer once per day only, which is frustrating ( better experience we had with much cheaper hotels in Maldives), We were transferred to a villa with a garden view, Yet we booked a sea view. Upon arrival to the room we mentioned about it and told to change to the one we booked... and the reason was " I am not sure maybe we are overbooked" well, that means you gave our room to someone who initially did not book it. The guy had to give an answer in 20 minutes, we never received any message back from him afterwards. Even tho, the villa we stayed was maybe better, but it was not the one what we booked with a sea view. The restaurant prices are high, lack of communication with a waiter in regards to meals, such as we ordered a seafood plate for 2 , but it was in real a seafood soup worthy 44 USD, not enough even for one person. another day we ordered lobster, which was in reall not exactly a lobster but the menu was misleading. Another issue we had with a payment. Restaurants do not take a cash, only card payments, which is still fine, but after checking out we wanted to have a lunch , at first reception told we can still have it and later pay in the reception or in the restaurant. Yet restaurant refused taking a cash after, which was somewhat ok too, we were not going to run away from the island anyway and would do the payment before leaving by a speed boat. Yet, we received a message on our whatsapp by the same guy who had to check why we did not have a sea view room " to go to the restaurant and PAY NOW " as if we were about to not pay. we found it a bit not professional. After a day we received another message from the same person to leave a review, we would if we get an exceptional service by ourselves, but in case if we expect from you something and you dont even appear to solve it, then asking a review is kind of laughable, not even mentioning the waiting time to be transferred to our room. Overall, hotel was a great escap for a day or two. After a day we were bored thinking what to do, since there is no animation. There is a DJ playing music near the pool and some traditional dances on Fridays. could be done in a better way surely. but we left the island completely satisfied. The restaurant Feast was great, just one notice, the fruits are limited and they count each fruit they give you. like if you took mangos, you should not ask lychees anymore :))))))) and what if you eat solely fruits for the breakfast and you paid lots of money for it ? Still it was fine. I will suggest to sit near the garden- pool area to not hear the noise of the plates comming from the feast during the breakfast.

A truly serene escape! The resort is surrounded by breathtaking beauty — turquoise waters, peaceful surroundings, and a calm that instantly relaxes you. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and welcoming, making the whole experience feel effortless. It’s the perfect spot for a one-day getaway that feels like a slice of paradise.

I went to the gym everyday during my stay of 5 nights and there was no water there. There are 4 restaurants. The day we arrived we went to the buffet -Feast. They took 25 minutes to bring a glass of wine and no Sprite or equivalent to it have. We had to go to the opposite side of the road restaurant to have it. Fruit is absolutely controlled and few types. Employees are nice and friendly and the room was proper done. We stayed with All Inclusive and in the last day we had to pay our lunch because the speedboat was arranged for 5:00 pm and the flight for 7:00 pm. We were truly disappointed! Not to repeat!

Stayed 12th oct to 16th oct. Excellent place , rooms, services. Fully enjoyed. All people working there are very helpful. Ankit and Maya are notably wonderful people . Very close to airport and approachable by speed boat.

The most amazing stay at the Sheraton, a lovely hotel with fabulous restaurants to choose from, which is really important on a small island. We did the ‘adopt a coral’ experience which was a really great initiative and good way to give back to the island too. We also loved seeing the orchid and honeymoon gardens, both a really nice touch and very personal. We did the dolphin cruise, seeing hundreds of dolphins too, which was an amazing experience. Huge thanks to Greg and Tess for looking after us, we will have to return to check on our coral!

We stayed at the Sheraton Maldives in early October, 2025. We were upgraded to an Ocean Villa with a beautiful view of the ocean and our own private pool. We found the staff there amazing. Everyone greeted us as we rode our bicycles around the island (bikes provided as we were on the far end of the island). We failed to lock our bikes and staff took them back to our villa, much to our dismay. We found several staff worthy of special mention. Zayan and Maish servers for out table for breakfast – great attention to detail. Ali makes the perfect omelet to our wishes. Sabari (on his first day making crepes) did an excellent job and Chef Hussain described a dish I thoroughly enjoyed in detail so I could attempt to recreate when I return home. Exceptional staff throughout – which made our stay so much more special.

The service and attention I got is impressive.

I had an amazing experience at Sheraton! The food was extraordinary with plenty of great options for vegetarians. The spa was relaxing and rejuvenating, and the staff were incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Ankit, who went the extra mile to deliver a photo we forgot to collect at the reception — such thoughtful service! The only minor drawback is that the hotel is quite close to Malé, so you can see some buildings in the distance. But if that doesn’t bother you, it’s truly an amazing place to stay!
