This is no ordinary hotel. It starts with the property itself. It is an historic building and the rooms are brick walls, beams in the ceiling, most comfortable feather beds, and furnishing that make you feel like you’ve step back in time but with all the modern conveniences. What sets this hotel apart is the people who work here. From the manager who personally drove us back to the airport, to reservations and restaurant, all staff, everyone to a person, went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. The chef in the kitchen made me a special meal because I cannot eat dairy. A concierge staff waited outside the hotel to help carry my luggage to my room. And every day I was greeted with genuine friendly conversations from every member of the staff who seemed to know me personally from day one. The restaurant was a delight. There were many places I could’ve dined but we ate every single meal at this hotel restaurant. There is even a little boutique store attached where I could find a large selection of things that are not normally included in a simple little gift snack shop. The central location of this delightful hotel meant that I had no more than a two minute walk to any place I wanted to visit. Normally, you need to brush up on your French to go to Quebec city but the staff was fully versed in English conversation. I have not been so delighted with a hotel in a very long time!

"Wonderful place to spend Christmas"

The location was perfect, and the size of the room was fantastic. The beds were huge and super comfortable. The restaurant La Buchette was so good, great vibe and yummy food.
