Bourne Hall Country Hotel

The room and bathroom were large . The outdoors is nice .

It needs to be updated and more attention to detail is needed.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Couldn't control the heating where the radiators were off but the pipework was very hot. The odd noises from some other guests in the bar.

The location was peaceful, with an abundance of wildlife. All staff especially Callum and Zoe (hope I got the name correct) were amazing. Tom was beyond helpful 😊

Family room was a distance, beds extremely hard.

Good breakfast, lots to choose from.

Reserved parking not respected, even though it was needed for a blue badge holder, denied the space on 2 of the 4 nights, staff seemed reluctant to disturb perpetrators. My breakfast was disrupted on one occasion because my alternative space was blocking in another guest.

Rooms were attractive and staff were polite and friendly. Lovely views.

Only blinds on windows which didn't block out light completely. Drawers were too small to put clothes in. No fresh fruit at breakfast. Noise from people in other rooms.

The staff were amazing you couldnt have asked for nicer people. And the vue from our room was stunning.

Lovely friendly staff, especially Tom who was very helpful and a mine of information about the island. The location is beautiful and very quiet, but at the same time not far from the village.
