"Lovely Stay In Shanklin"

Very nice hotel located on the edge of Shanklin, a few minutes drive from the town centre and the beach. Staff are lovely and helpfull, and the breakfast was the perfect start to the day. The rooms and beds were comfortable. One room was newly refurbished and the other was partialy refurbished (the carpet and bathroom were old) otherwise it would have been a 10.

The corridorrs and halways need a lot of TLC. Extra charge to use the pool.

Comfy quiet room, lovely swimming pool and good breakfast. Tom and his colleagues were fantastic. The price was also really good, especially as it was the IOW Festival weekend.

Nothing really. Yes the hotel is a bit dated in areas, but that wasn't a big issue for us.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, quiet location

Overpriced for what it was. Very basic, not luxury in any way. Common areas tired and grubby. Furniture and fixtures cheap, terrible toiletries. Booked for the pool, didn't use as not at all inviting.

"Simply lovely"

All the staff were so nice to us, we had some issues with our room but they sorted it and gave us a better room to make up for it. Breakfast was lovely every day as well.

Hill on the walk home from the pub? Not really the hotels fault, can’t have a view out all the way to sandown without being on a hill.
