Great location. Friendly staff. It was in the middle of ownership/management transition but the service did not feel disjointed at all. Great value

It is an older facility, bug that's part of its charm.

I get that it's an old building but lots of old buildings have a lift and this place is 4 stories high and there's no lift. That's fine unless you have a large heavy suitcase. Would have been good if it said this in the add but it didn't.

on-site parking was insufficient for the number of cars required, forcing us to park in their overflow lot a block away (worrying about vehicle security, and also ours on the late night walk back to the hotel). electrical outlet in bathroom was physically broken and taped over, so no hope of using the hair dryer attached to the wall.

The location is great, staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was a decide size, the bed was very comfortable, and quite quiet considering it was on the first floor. It was nice to have breakfast included—it was light continental (coffee, cold, self-serve things like fruit, yogurt cups, cereal, etc.)—especially as we were in town for the half marathon and nothing else was open at 6 am when we needed to leave the hotel! Parking is on location and free, which is a nice perk. There is also an amazing antique store right next door, as well as a very cute little wine bar.

We came into town for the half marathon, and so we wanted a room we could unwind in after the race. The room we picked was described as having a "spa tub" which I assumed would be a larger than standard size jacuzzi tub. It turned out to be a regular sized tub with jets, and the tub stopper didn't work very well, so it took a long time for the tub to fill enough for the jets to work. Also, my husband, who is 6'4" couldn't really fit. Also, the bathrobes were 100% polyester (less absorbent and less comfortable).
