Inn at St John Portland In-Town

Decent location, close to central area.

Room was dirty, fridge had items left from previous guest. Hairs found on bed. Shared bathroom not cleaned regularly and was wet with unflushed toilet.

Great hosts, great place to stay and easy to get around town from here. Started two nights and would easily recommend this to close friends and/or stay there again. Everything was perfect.

If I had to ask for one thing, it would be perhaps cold cuts or cheese slices asking with the bread and juice and cereal options in the morning. Only protein option was hard boiled eggs.

The staff were very friendly. I had a late check in and it was great to be welcomed warmly! The beds were comfortable and the room is a good size for a solo traveler.

The power went out when I was there, which was very unfortunate. My AC wasn't working and it was very hot. The staff brought me fans which was great but not as comfortable as I would have been with AC and full power.

Location to Haddock Field was great

Hottest days and the AC didn't work. Told the front desk I would be gone all day, it was 90+ degrees, AC was still not fixed when I returned 12 hours later. Had to change rooms for a fix. The floor in the bathroom was weird, sneakers slipped and was greasy in bare feet. Bed wasn't bad, but pillows left lots to be desired. The lights dimmed every time anything drew power. Couldn't read in bed because the lights were on then almost off, then on again and so on. Bathroom, well the only place to put anything down was on the toilet lid. To say the least, I won't be going back.
