The University Inn at Emory

The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and it was easy to obtain more towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags from office. It was very quiet and restful. Location was perfect for daily visits to Emory. It is close to many restaurants in the area.

What a wonderful, pleasant 24 hours at the Inn; traveling from Delaware 16 hrs. via Amtrak we were warmly welcomed by Montaine who promptly provided a room for us, after offering us continental breakfast. The room was immaculate, providing every amenity we needed. Such comfortable beds! Tiffany at the front desk was so cheerful and helpful. I highly recommend the Inn for anyone who needs to be in the Emory/Druid Hills area. Thank you again Montaine and Tiffany! You were both a bright light to us as we traveled to Atlanta for a funeral.

Big rooms. Inside Emory campus which is helpful for parents visiting their kids.

Very disappointing experience. There was no clear information during booking about needing to pay an additional 80–90% deposit on arrival, even though the room was already prepaid. Parking fees were also not disclosed in advance. The receptionist, Marios, was extremely rude and unprofessional—raising his voice, pointing fingers, and speaking aggressively. When the manager arrived, instead of helping, she told us we could not stay unless we paid more money, despite having a confirmed reservation. She even suggested this issue was because we booked through Booking, which is unacceptable.

The grounds and rooms are well -maintained, the kitchenette was terrific (just bring some cookware and disposable flatware and paper plates), Emory University Hospital is a short drive or walk away,and the free breakfast is nice too, but most importantly I have never had better help from the staff anywhere else in my life, including the Marriott Orlando resort hotel where my husband and I stayed earlier this month.
