The University Inn at Emory

I stayed for one night at the University Inn while travelling on business. Upon check-out, I requested an invoice in order to claim the expenses from my employer. I was informed that, because the booking had been made via Booking.com, the hotel could not provide an invoice. Even after I insisted, this position did not change. As a result, I am now experiencing difficulties with my employer (a government organisation) in reclaiming these costs. I have contacted the hotel multiple times—both via the Booking.com platform and directly—but have received no response. I would therefore advise business travellers to avoid this hotel if booking through Booking.com, as the lack of invoicing and follow-up support can lead to significant issues with expense claims.

Good location for Emory University.

They do not have elevators.

You had to go downstairs to get toilet paper & towels

We were expecting continental breakfast

I liked how close it was to the hospital , and how they let me check in earlier then check in time I really appreciated that accommodation

Wasn’t anything could really complain about except there was black hair all over my shower and the water wasn’t very hot in the shower

Large rooms and friendly staff

No option to avoid steps, which was difficult for part of our group
