Beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. Thank you, Chloe and team for being so helpful to me, my wife, and my daughter Gracie. We appreciated the stroller valet service.

Great location in downtown SB.

The room was spacious and clean. The location is perfect. Close to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Santa Barbara. We'll definitely stay here again. The pool and rooftop deck are excellent!

Fantastic staff. Decades of steady support of staff really show up in service. Kimpton Canary Santa Barbara excels with extraordinary staffing.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff.

For the premium price paid, the room and bathroom were disappointing. An old shower and tub, not the luxury, renovated experience advertised. We were also across from construction which woke us at 7am. Lacklustre pool area, and the tea and coffee station was not stocked regularly. We had to ask for peppermint tea multiple times. I was also was asked to pay a tax that I had already paid.

Loved our stay here! Location is perfect in downtown Santa Barbara. There are plenty of restaurants around, as well as downstairs. The hotel is dog-friendly and we ate breakfast just outside the restaurant in the lobby. There are dog treats near check in. There’s also tea, coffee, etc. The pool area is very nice, on the rooftop so you have a nice view of Santa Barbara: the beds were comfortable and I liked the bath and the shower. Parking is $55/night valet only, so keep that in mind. We got chocolate covered strawberries and cookies as a welcome gift with some waters in the room when we arrived. I would come back again!

The staff were all so incredibly nice and helpful. I absolutely loved the pillows and the bed.

My room faced a somewhat busy street

Very central with lots of bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff and very clean hotel with a nice restaurant serving good food and complimentary wine each evening. Stayed here twice and will stay again.

We were told by booking.com that breakfast was included but found out we only had an allowance of USD50 per day!

The Kimpton Canary was a nice modern hotel, with a good restaurant, ambience, location, service, and rooms. The hotel was close to state street close to dozens of great restaurants. It was very calm no noise, could be a little cheaper, and the hotel was very clean.
