Had everything we needed for a night away with our boys, perfect location for a quick taxi ride to Cardiff castle for a concert. Very clean airy rooms, excellent breakfast

Check in took a long time, not enough staff on duty meaning there was a queue to the door!

The room was clean and had air conditioning which was perfect for the hottest day of the year.

We arrived 15 minutes before check in and were asked to wait (along with a crowd of other guests) as the house staff hadn’t finished, there was also a 250 people conference due to finish. At 3pm reception was carnage in 30 degrees! People trying to check in and a conference finishing. Woefully understaffed, hot, sweaty and disorganised. Why there isn’t a system enabling some people to access rooms as they become available, which would completely avoid this carnage, is beyond me. There was no air conditioning in reception, the restaurant or bar making the above carnage, 10 times worse. Also, as there was no fridge in the room, we asked for a jug of iced water for the room. This seemed like a tough ask! Bar staff eventually gave us a jug that was smaller than a pint glass and filled it with ice??

Clean and comfortable. Good parking. Great air conditioning on the hottest day of the year.

Not being able to check in early.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, fußläufig (12 min) zur Waterfront, und von dort aus kann man mit dem Bus in 6 Minuten ins City Center fahren. Das Zimmer war groß, mit zwei großen Doppelbetten, angenehm ausgestattet, man würde dort gerne länger bleiben als nur ein bis zwei Nächte. Gutes Frühstück. Kostenloses Parken. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Da fällt mir nicht viel ein, nur eine Kleinigkeit: Man konnte beim Frühstück kein Spiegelei bestellen, es gab nur die Möglichkeit, dass vorgefertigte Rührei zu nehmen.

The staff were just gorgeous. Really pleasant, really helpful. Hotel room was spotless and spacious. A great hotel.

The place was great, zero complaints.
