Staff: Not friendly at all. Seemed to care way more about smoke breaks then helping the customer. Front desk lady was smoking every time we saw her right outside front of building and when I say right in front I mean literally outside the door. Pretty sure there is a law that you must a certain amount of feet away from the door. Seriously. Anytime there was not a customer she was helping she was outside smoking. We arrived at 2:35 with a Check-In time of 3:00. Front desk lady never said hi or welcome but the first words out of her mouth were “I don’t know if I have any clean rooms yet”... yes at 25 min the Hotel Check-In she tells me they have no clean rooms. After about 5 min of back and forth a room was ready... Cleanliness: Meh, the room was ok, bathroom was not the greatest. Walls had black marks, tub/shower had lots of grime and shower curtains were not clean. Beds were clean. Room in general: Rifht near stairwells you her every footstep coming and going. And the door to the floor slams shut. Please please put a hinge that allows easy close. It woke us up all night. Floors and ceiling are paper thin. Plan to hear everything from those around you. Overall for $250+ per night don’t provide $70 hotel service. Will never give them my money again.

"Never ever stay here."

When I walked into the Lobby, there was a line and no one was at the desk. The night worker looked like a MethHead. After some time, I got my room, filthy. Pubic Hair in the shower. Room needed to be clean. After staying 3 nights, I left Silverthorne with a massive cold. The breakfast area was horrendous. I refused to even drink the coffee, for fear of food poisoning. Waffle batter everywhere. The counter tops nasty with food and drinks spilled everywhere. No wonder I got sick just by looking at the filthy mess. The nastyst thing was I dropped something behind the bed, pulled the mattress away from the wall, I found baby bottle inches of filth plus a handful of change. Our door looked like the police kicked it in, and did not fix it. The door Jam was gone. Very unsecured. Outside doors were not secure. $200 a night for pure Garbage and a cold or flu.

Overall, a disappointing experience. The front end staff was very friendly and polite. However, once checked in, the elevator didn't work, had to use the stairs every time. TV didn't work in first room, but did in second room. The shower had mold in the corners and the hot tub felt slimy, as if hadn't been cleaned for some time. Unfortunately, I will look for different place to stay next time I am in Silverthorne, CO

"It is what it is"

The staff was friendly and the room itself was spacious and clean although in need of updating. The hallways are rough, there are some odd loud noises and the walls are thin. Still, for the price and location, it's serviceable.

"Horrible go elsewhere"

2.0

Right off the bat the front desk employee was rude and obviously using some sort of drugs. The entire hotel had a musty smell and the room was old and dirty. The mattresses were awful, the walls were thin and it was loud from the freeway and other guests. The breakfast selection was fairly small and there was only one waffle machine with a long line. Overall this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I often stay at cheap motels.

This hotel was so awful. From the moment we walked in the front desk lady acted annoyed to have to help us. She was complaining about other guests. The hallway to our room smelled terrible but the room smelled worse. We went to the hot tub but there were no towels. I asked the front desk person for towels and she acted completely inconvenienced. Once back in the room it sounded like a hurd of elephants were walking around above us, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and there were stains on one of the bed sheets. Breakfast the next morning was disgusting. We had to get food elsewhere.

Don't let the added name "Wyndham" fool you, This hotel is a 1 star property and in need of updates. While the lobby and the rooms are pleasant, you'll sink in the King bed and wonder why your back hurts, only to go into the shower with the water-pik shower head and where the last update was done in the 80's. The breakfast is all pre-packaged muffins and only cereal. No eggs, nothing but bread and definitely nothing for gluten-free eaters. The side entrance door was wide open all night in 12 degree weather and reeked of cigarette smoke. The carpet was gross by far and caked in dirt and age. I wouldn't walk anywhere in this hotel without shoes on as the floors are sticky.
