⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was an absolute dream oasis ! HIGHLY recommend for anyone in Luang Prabang. ♥️ Long review incoming so TL;DR: Location, rooms, pool, amenities were high quality — but what really stuck out was the fantastic hospitality and service! — 📍Location: fantastic! Near the main road but very quiet and tucked away. Just a quick walk from the night market and the phousi temple + hills and an easy walk or even easier bike to the main central areas in town. 🏨 Rooms: great sized room, HUGE bed (2 singles pushed together but we rarely get this space in nyc! Haha), balcony overlooking the pool with lush views, and a simple but very clean and functional bathroom. They also provided 4 bottles of filtered water (in reusable glasses) which we greatly appreciated. Especially with all the single plastic water bottle waste in Asia 🥺. Housekeeping was prompt and serviced every day. I would say the only negative was that the WiFi was not very strong in our room and we would need to go onto the balcony or in the lobby to get stronger signal 🌊🚲 Pool & amenities: we LOVED having the pool to take a dip in after the HOT humid days. Drinks were buy 1 get 1 free (the entire time lol) and they were yum! They also had free bikes that you could rent from the front desk, which were perfect for getting around town! We had breakfast included and every morning it came with fresh fruit and an a la carte menu (but with no restrictions on how much you could order). They also had a spa but we did not use it. 👩🏻‍💼 Hospitality: WOW! The service and quality level of hospitality was just so lovely here. From the second we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles and taken care of in such a kind and caring way. Front desk was super helpful in answering our questions, booking a sunset cruise for us and helping us book a scooter for a day trip to Kuang Si Falls and gave us other areas to stop at on the way. Special shout out to Pan and Noun! Restaurant service was always amazing. With Marvin making the BEST mango passion fruit smoothies we’ve ever had and delicious food (breakfast and at the poolside restaurant). He was always curious on how our day was going and checking in on us with a smile! And lastly, even the security guards went above and beyond. We unfortunately had a flat tire on our scooter on a highway ~30min away from town and the security guard (Thongkoun) spotted us on the side of the street, stopped (while in the middle of taking his kids home), rode with us to a nearby town, tried to fix our tire, and when he couldn’t, called a local truck to get us back to the hotel safely! We are so grateful for everyone at the hotel and can’t sing our praises more. The night before we left, the hotel / housekeeping left a note on our bed, written out in delicately cut flowers and leaves 🥹. Such a sweet and thoughtful add!

It was the best holiday of the year. Thank you to all the staff for the warm welcome and excellent care. The room was spotless and the food was delicious. The restaurant prices were a bit high, but overall it was good value. I’ll be back.

My stay at Homm Souvannaphoum was nothing short of exceptional. The moment I stepped onto the property, I felt like I had entered a peaceful sanctuary — tranquil, stylish, and full of character. The location is perfect — just a short 8-minute walk to the town center and all the main attractions, yet tucked away enough to enjoy absolute serenity. The pool is a refreshing escape after a day of sightseeing, and the garden is a lovely spot to relax with a drink in hand. My room was spacious and decorated with Lao motifs, and incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the attentive service from the staff; every interaction was warm, sincere, and personalized. I can’t wait to return.

The Homm is a well located hotel in Luang Prabang. It’s approx 7-8 mins walk to the Night Market which starts around 5pm every evening. It is full of souvenirs but also plenty of food stalls and places to eat. Other than that Luang Prabang is very walkable, plenty of temples to see and beautiful French colonial buildings. Plenty of cafes and bakeries and is really a delight to spend a few days. The staff at the hotel are exceptional and couldn’t be more helpful enough. The general manager takes pride in introducing himself to guests and it was lovely to meet him. We had cocktails by the pool, some lunch in the restaurant. Breakfast the first two days was great, must have been a change in chef on the last day so it wasn’t as good. The pool was a great place to relax and hang out in the late afternoon. Oh and did I mention drinks were buy 1 get 1 until 7pm which was fantastic. The room was clean with great A/C and a fan, WiFi worked brilliantly and wherever you go staff are smiling and acknowledge you. We really enjoyed our stay, I’m sure the Homm will go from strength to strength with great new management.

Stepping into Homm Souvanaphum, once a prince's palace, feels like stepping back in time. Its classic interior perfectly complements its rich heritage. The location is fantastic, offering a peaceful escape by the Mekong River, close to temples and the night market. The staff truly elevated my stay, sharing captivating stories about the hotel's royal past. And the breakfast? Simply delightful, especially the egg Benedict! If you're looking for a peaceful, charming escape with rich history, a great location, and exceptional service, Homm Souvanaphum is an excellent choice.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a very personable vibe. Great location, just a short walk from the night market and the center of the Old Town. A massage at the Angsana Spa is a must. Nice room, delicious breakfast, lovely pool, beautiful garden, and good Wi-Fi. The staff couldn't do enough for you.

When you first step into the hotel, you can receive a luxurious and comfortable vibe. Homm hotel is just what it sounds like, just like “home”. Only a bit more of a dream come true. The waiters and staffs are always so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are huge and gorgeous. The food is delicious. The design is breathtaking and gives you a “Laos” feeling. This place is once an estate where the prince Souvanna Phouma once lived in. So it’s a limited edition hotel where there are limited rooms. The theme of the hotel is blissful blue and peaceful white. Instead of the room number, each room got its own name. For example “Lao”, “Maison”, “Le residence twin”,… The hotel also have a collab-partnership with Accor hotels so you can still enjoy the Accor ALL membership discounts and perks. The hotel is near to different shops, restaurants, and the center of Luang Prabang so you can enjoy some more yummy and tasty food. Some restaurants like MANDA de LAOS provide amazing food and a nice pond to look at. The pictures will be provided so you can have a brief view of the hotel. The restaurant is also mentioned so you can stop by. I hope y’all have a fun time in Laos, the place where elephants and fried rice rules! P.S. : they also provide delicious snacks for you when you arrive😋😋 I’m also not sure how long the Accor partnership will last so no discounts 100% guaranteed. A beautiful boutique hotel in Luang Prabang. Walking distance to the old town but on the edge so there is plenty of space. We stayed in room 201 which has the best view of the pool and gardens. Mr Ya, the manager and all the rest of the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Eggs Benedict for breakfast here are as good as anywhere in the world. Highly recommended!
