Green oasis in the middle of town close to evening market. Quiet at night and nice sitting area in the garden and near the pool. Excellent breakfast with eggs benedict and choice of Lao and western dishes.

Very clumsy internet that disconnects every time and you have to remember and enter your password on a special web site. Why make it so difficult? Hair conditioner dispenser in shower was empty when we arrived.

I loved our stay at this quiet immaculately maintained boutique hotel. The management and staff were all attentive and accommodating, answering questions, bringing up/down luggage, letting us check out late at noon extra charge. The dining room is right on a covered deck by the pool - a relaxing place to start and end the day. They have an amazing morning buffet with both Western and Laotian selections. All this right on the main drag in LP, just 5 minutes from the Morning and Night Markets. This one is a resounding thumbs up! I would stay there again in a heartbeat

What a beautiful, quiet boutique hotel (only 24 rooms) with friendly, accommodating staff! It was like going back in time to an earlier era--because of the premium this establishment places on hospitality and guest satisfaction, the design of the hotel (Prince Souvanna Phouma's former residence), and the situation of the hotel on Luang Prabang's main drag, five minutes' walking distance from the night and morning markets. We asked for a late checkout and it was granted without charge. All staff--from groundskeepers to waiters/waitresses, bar staff and front desk--greeted us, asked us how we were doing, and helped with luggage. Just a great, relaxing, and comfortable stay. We stayed here for 3 nights with a party of 18 on an indochina tour; it was our only hotel in Lao PDR, & it was great. They laid out a lovely evening meal for our first night with local food presented beautifully in dragon boat platters. Breakfast was also good. The staff were very friendly, polite & helpful with some nice touches like bringing cold cucumber water on arrival at the nice pool area. Rooms were spacious with balconies, free fruit, tea, coffee etc. They we very accommodating to requests for room changes & also allowed the whole group to check out at 4pm for an evening flight. Would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent hotel dedicated to keeping Luang Prabang sustainable. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay and there’s a great pool !

Amazing room, pool beautiful, staff super attentive. Breakfast was also great. The hotel has bikes which are a very convenient way to explore Luang Prabang. Overall really recommend it.
