I had a wonderful stay at Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa Kovalam. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and extremely well maintained, making the entire experience very relaxing. A special thanks to Varun from Operations for ensuring everything was well organized and comfortable throughout our stay. Sujit and Dheeraj from the F&B team was very attentive and made sure we had a great dining experience. We also truly enjoyed the amazing food prepared by Chef Harish every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Lastly, a big appreciation to Kaushal from Housekeeping for keeping the room spotless and well taken care of. The hospitality and warmth of the entire team made our stay truly memorable. Looking forward to visiting again

Taj Kovalam resort is out of this world. Picturesque location, great service and beautiful rooms.

Overpriced, and 60% of hotel shut down on day 3. We went for a luxury 5 day spa visit after a long and very enjoyable 25 days travelling across S India. Food- average and v expensive. accommodation - tired , spa treatments not available, main pool closed down on day 3 etc, etc. BE AWARE THE HOTEL IS STARTING A MAJOR 8 MONTH RENOVATION. So disappointed - even the coffee was terrible. The hotel did give a small discount after much discussion.

Perfect Room was gorgeous, staff absolutely amazing. Part of this hotel is under renovation, however we’re enjoying our stay! It’s not overly crowded Love the clean green areas, bait restaurant is good again the staff are very helpful. We felt cosy and looked after. Food was exceptionally good Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa. The property is beautifully nestled between lush greenery and the sea, offering a perfect sense of calm and luxury. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully designed, and the entire resort was impeccably maintained. What truly stood out was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff — every interaction felt genuine and personal. Big thanks to Shivaramakrishnan who ensured we had the best experience every way possible! Chef Deepak, Dheeresh, Sujit, Aamir, Anil,Aanie, Jeesintha, Kumar and Akshai at the Jasmine Bay, Sunny who ensures the poolside is comfy, Vinod who tirelessly took us around in the buggy and Sujith, our driver whose care and courtesy is something we’ll remember for many years to come! It was a serene escape with exceptional hospitality. I’m already looking forward to returning

Excellent. Great location, very green with amazing trees. Plenty of birds. Lovely backwaters. Extreme cleanliness. Very friendly staff. Very friendly ambience. Great food. Good value for money.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for 4 nights. Our cottage had an amazing view of the lagoon and the ocean. Climbing 50+ steps was worth the price to pay for the view. Loved the sunset views from the beachside restaurant The Tide. Food was good. Loved the morning yoga session. The service all around - reception, restaurant, room service ....was amazing. Highly recommend a stay here.

Our stay at Taj Kovalam has been absolutely wonderful, and a big part of that credit goes to Chef Harish Rawat. Meeting someone from our home state of Uttarakhand, so far away in beautiful Kerala, was a lovely coincidence—but what truly stood out was his warmth and hospitality. Chef Harish went well beyond his professional duties to make my family and me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. From thoughtful gestures to personally attending to our special requests, his attention to detail and kindness made our holiday even more special. He made us feel less like guests and more like family. It’s rare to meet someone who combines culinary excellence with such humility, warmth, and a sincere desire to create memorable experiences for guests. Chef Harish truly embodies the spirit of Taj hospitality. Thank you, Chef Harish, for your generosity, warmth, and for adding such a personal touch to our stay. Dear Taj Green Cove Team, Writing this with absolute joy and heartfelt appreciation following our recent week-long stay at your property, which coincided with a significant milestone for my mother's 83rd birthday. It was our third attempt of reservation at your property and finally we were able to visit after cancelling the previous two reservations. Last year, we faced an unexpected setback with my mother's sudden hospitalization, leading us to cancel our plans just two days before our intended stay. I must extend my sincerest gratitude to your management for waiving all cancellation charges, a gesture that speaks volumes of the TATA group's compassion and unwavering customer commitment. To start with,I'd like to offer thanks to Srijit at the front office, whose thoughtful selection of a room suited to my mother's needs made all the difference. We are also thankful to Shiva for his warm and attentive care, especially for coordinating an unforgettable Poovar Island trip, ensuring my mother's comfort and safety throughout the journey. Our stay was primarily for the regional cuisine and to enjoy the serene environment of the resort .We expressed our fondness for regional cuisine during our first visit to the Jasmine bay and what followed after that was beyond our imagination.Chef Rawat and team embraced our requests with exceptional enthusiasm, curated meals that consistently left us enchanted and eagerly anticipating each dining experience. Chef Rawat's remarkable culinary expertise deserves a monumental shoutout. He made sure that we get to taste new local preparation every day. He would plan our meals in advance so that proper attention could be given to prepare each dish.(even during his week off,he gave instructions for our next day’s meal). He didn’t even hesitate to cater to my mother’s temptation to have the Pahadi raita(which she relished during our stay at Taj Corbett) ,when she came to know of chef’s Pahadi roots.He ,in-fact,after knowing that we are going to miss hi-tea due to our trip to Poovar island ,got us some snacks packed for the trip. Furthermore, the lavish Breakfast/Dinner buffet, adorned with special delicacies organised exclusively for us everyday by Chef Rawat such as King Fish Pollichetu,Fish Manga curry,Prawn Chameen Chutedu, Banana flower cutlet, Kudumpali fish curry,Kerala style Mutton curry,Nadan chicken curry ,kung Pao chicken and the sensational Pahadi Mutton curry which was prepared to celebrate my mother's birthday-provided an unforgettable feast. The desserts, particularly the in-house Malai and Mango-flavored kulfi, and Ada/Kadla/Paal/Ari Payasam were an absolute treat each evening. Abhishek from Jasmine Bay having great knowledge of local cuisine was always ready to cater to our requests and recommended us to try everything understanding our love for different cuisines. He ensured that my mother’s stay is memorable. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Sanket, Jeseentha, Sonia, and Annie, whose exemplary service made us feel cherished and valued at every meal. Chef Rawat and the service staff also arranged a freshly made cake for my mother’s birthday celebrations. Aarthi and Meganathan from housekeeping, who surprised my mother by decorating her room for her birthday and arranging a cake for her. She even managed to surprise her with a flower bouquet which was way beyond her means. But she went much and beyond to surprise her. Our leisurely time at Bait was always memorable.There coconut soufflé was out of this world so was the wood fired pizza and freshly prepared drinks. Thanks to Abbil (intern) and Sanjay for all the assistance posted at lawns for activity etc. Nandini,,Sebby,Priya and male ayurveda therapist were all fabulous at JWellness SPA. All the buggy drivers and security staff were always cordial,understanding and prompt to cater to our requests for wheelchair/buggy assistance.The care and concern was always visible in their conduct which translated in their service. My mother’s wish to complete the lagoon boat ride was also made into a smooth affair and the boat rider managed to get a step for her to get into the boat. The security head of the hotel,who was in the vicinity,ensured my mother is taken care during the ride and after when she wished to sit around the sea facing lawns. Once again,Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for crafting unforgettable memories during my mother's 83rd birthday celebration. Your generosity of spirit and heartfelt hospitality guaranteed an experience we will hold dear for the rest of our lives.
