Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa Kovalam

The rooms are tired and really need a refresh. We had the engineers out for different issues on 5 separate occasions over 2 days.

Rawat ji and team were awesome, they serve very personalized and traditions meals, property is amazing and must enjoy the lagoon boating in the evening.

Total disappointment non of the resort style comforts & experience. Loudspeaker blasting from outside the resort directly onto rooms non stop from morning to midnight. No warning given at the time of booking. Rooms are old and outdated without any USB ports to connect mobile phone .TV not working Mosquitoes all the property outside, went for an early morning walk , urgent nature’s call toilets near bait restaurant locked . Double occupancy booked given two separate single bed for couple .

Amazing Location..Rooms sitauted in a forest type set up.Beach is close by and back water(Logoon) is in between the Hotel and beach,which also belongs to Taj.5 Star rating for Hospitality,Food and Service.Would 100% recommend everyone to experience the Hospitality of Taj .

We had a good holiday at the Taj Green Cove in the 2nd week of February. The Property is extremely beautiful however the rooms are now a tad outdated. The bathrooms and room furniture especially needs an upgrade!! The staff however is EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE and did everything in their power to make our stay Memorable. I would specially mention Abhishek (from F&B) and his team. Also the front desk staff Shiva, Netra who were very helpful. Huge thanks to your manager Anu for upgrading us to the President Suite. However, this entire holiday was marred by loud music being played through out the day for ALL the four days right from 5am till late night. This made even sleeping peacefully an impossible task; let alone enjoying some peaceful time at the property. I understand that the music was from an external source, but given that the Taj property has been there for so long, they are well aware of this (annual?) event but do nothing to stop the same!! This MARRED the experience COMPLETELY. The least we would have expected from a brand like Taj was an upfront honest declaration of this event on their booking site perhaps coupled with reduced rates for this week. We certainly wouldn't have chosen it even at discounted rates but if anyone did, then the choice would have been an informed one. They have great STAFF but the property needs an upgrade and more so FREEDOM from NOISE.

In desperate need of updating. My bath was too broken and grubby to get in. We had an entry level room as only one available, it was dismal. The bathroom particularly poor. I think if you book a higher category you might be luckier. The staff were great. Service great. Pool warm but not enough umbrellas or loungers, people complaining. The food was far superior to the Leela, the whole hotel cleaner , but given a choice, based on my room, I’d plump for Leela. How Taj have five stars for these rooms I really don’t know.

Our toddlers enjoyed it safely, and it became one of our favorite spots during the stay. **Room Experience – Spacious Balcony Room with Relaxing Views** We stayed in a balcony room, which was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for our family. The balcony offered beautiful views and added to the peaceful experience. His attention to quality and guest satisfaction was clearly evident. We would also like to appreciate **Mr. Dhiresh**, who provided excellent service during our meals. Their security manager support and smartness helped us in avoiding cab booking issue with local taxi folks and get on a cab which was booked by a online cab aggregator company. **Final Verdict:** Taj Green Cove Kovalam offers the perfect combination of natural beauty, luxury, exceptional food, and world-class hospitality. This is easily one of the best Taj properties we have experienced. **Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking for a premium, peaceful luxury stay in Kerala.** Note: Avoid booking any cab from outside online, choose either from Hotel which is safe and secure else use a common cab from start of your journey to end to avoid any issue on commuting via cab/taxi in your vacation for Kerala. **Rating: 5/5 – Truly Exceptional Experience.** We look forward to visiting again soon.

Amazing stay. Property is rustic and nice. The staff is exception. Chef Harish Rawat went out of his way to make us feel at home. Abhishek Singh also left no stone unturned to enhance our experience! This Taj Property epitomises exceptional service by truly exceptional team! Other names I didn't catch but I must also say that the classical dance performance by pool side restaurant was super nice. The young artists were not only gifted, their smiles were genuine and they were a treasure to watch perform. All in all a 100 on 100.

We had the trip of a lifetime and this was in large part due to the amazing service at Taj Green Cove. All the staff were very attentive, friendly and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. In particular, Abhishek was fantastic - frequently offering tips on the best local delicacies to get at the resort restaurants and availing himself for any queries generally. Coupled with the brilliant Bait Restaurant and J Wellness Circle, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic holiday!

excellent service we were part of a wedding and my mom has dietary restrictions but we were very well looked after Chef Manoj Pandey and his team did an excellent job especially the Sadhya lunch. special mention to Abhishek Pandey and chef Rawat for taking such good care of us the buggies were also always available and in room service housekeeping everything was very swift
