An exceptional stay that was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt effortlessly elegant and impeccably curated. The room was beautifully appointed—spacious, serene, and finished with refined details that reflected true luxury and comfort. The deluxe sea view suite had a view to die for. Definitely recommend this room for the view and location. What really stood out was the service—genuine, attentive, and always with a smile. Every interaction made us feel welcomed and cared for. The ambiance, facilities, and overall atmosphere made it hard to leave, and we left with wonderful memories. A special mention to the following people who made us want to return in an heartbeat- Ms. Fenisha- she helped us at check in and was very helpful and warm. Mr Sebastian and his team were very warm and gracious at the evening high tea and the bait restaurant. Mr. Abhishek needs a special mention for his warm hospitality at the restaurant during breakfast and dinner. He made sure we were always well taken care of and catered to all our needs. We would specially like to thank Chef Harish Rawat. He was always looking out for us and our needs. The food he served was delicious. Jeesentha and Dhiraj from the restaurant served us with a smile always. Aliya from house keeping needs a special mention for keeping our room immaculate and clean. We definitely look forward to return to the property soon again.

Front office is extremely laid back in customer email replies, infact for 1 query till date there is no reply. Multiple reminders but no revert. At hotel, staff was good & prompt but on emails very bad. Room was nice & comfortable Location was awesome Food was ok Restaurant staff very good specially Mr Rawat, Pradeep, Gopi and all other staff was very nice.

All 13 of us from the family stayed at Taj Green Cove to celebrate Christmas and our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. We felt the warm Taj hospitality from the moment we reached the reception. The rooms were comfortable, the restaurants were excellent, the evening at Bait and the boat ride were wonderful. The Christmas gala dinner was outstanding, and overall it was a truly memorable holiday

The property was decent and the the hospitality was upto Taj standards. However the food was below average. We checked in on 14th. My sister had non veg for lunch and fell so I'll that we had to take her to the emergency room where she was given drips. We usually stay at Taj whenever we travel. This Taj was below the average standards.

We just returned from a memorable stay at this hotel with a large family group. The staff met the various needs of our group - kids, adults, senior - with sincerity and warmth, making us feel like family rather guests. The food and service by chef Mr Harish Rawat and Mr. Abhishek starting from breakfast through dinner at the seaside Bait restaurant, made us feel specially welcome. A huge shout out to them! Our rooms with a sea view were stunning and surrounded by lush greenery. Spa massages were excellent as well. The lagoon with lotuses and fringed with swaying coconut trees will be etched in our minds forever. Perfect location for a relaxing family vacation. Special thanks to manager Mr Suku Verghese as well.

We had an overall pleasant stay at the Taj Covalam, set in a beautiful location with warm and attentive staff. I want to particularly acknowledge the management team for how seriously they took our feedback and how genuinely they tried to make amends. On our first day, we faced some service issues with food ordering. The food arrived quite late and unfortunately was cold by the time it reached us. We raised this with the team, and to their credit, they were extremely responsive thereafter. They actively sought feedback, made visible improvements, and went out of their way to compensate, including a complimentary three-course meal on our last day, a free airport transfer, and several thoughtful gestures. That effort did not go unnoticed and was sincerely appreciated. However, I do feel it’s important for future guests to be aware of a broader issue that is not entirely within the hotel’s control, but does impact the guest experience. In the Kovalam area, there appears to be a strong local taxi union, and app-based taxis like Uber are not allowed to pick up guests from the hotel premises. This came as a surprise, especially since a nearby hotel, Leela Kovalam, does allow Uber pickups. This restriction limits guest choice and can feel inconvenient, particularly for travelers who rely on ride-hailing apps for transparency and ease. When we discussed this with the Taj team, it was clear that they are aware of the issue and are somewhat constrained by the local taxi union’s rules. While I empathize with their position, I do believe this is an area where stronger engagement and long-term resolution is needed, as it directly affects guest convenience and expectations from a luxury property. In summary, the Taj Covalam stands out for its hospitality, willingness to listen, and sincere attempts to make things right. At the same time, I hope management can continue to push back constructively on the taxi situation so future guests can enjoy a truly seamless experience.
