Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa Kovalam

Had a genuinely memorable stay, and that’s because the people actually put in effort instead of doing the usual routine hospitality. It was our anniversary, and Dheeraj and Abin went all out to make the day feel special. Abin also clicked our photos, and the results were honestly impressive. The chef — I don’t remember his name — made a beautiful watermelon cake for our baby’s 6-month celebration, it looked great. Sebastin handled the entire stay smoothly from the moment we arrived till checkout. His consistency stood out. We also had dinner at Bait — seafood was legitimately good, not the watered-down “resort version.” The location is a big plus, and the property itself is stunning. Overall, the combination of genuine effort, great food, and a beautiful setting made the experience worth remembering.

Wonderful ambience and really rejuvenating experience . The spa was very good and always busy. Kids enjoyed the plunge pool and the green environment.. food was very good

When you enter this place you feel calm and when you leave you feel even calmer. The wonderful plants and trees surrounding you, the fantastic view over the ocean, the best service and delicious food is something you will remember. Also the sun set from the nice beach restaurant is wonderful. Not to forget, the best start of the day when you walk through the beautiful garden to have your yoga lesson. It was such a great moment to practice yoga for the first time in India and I can recommend it dearly. The spa area is very nice and what you should expect. You should also go and visit Trivandrum which is an interesting city.

We conducted our daugher's wedding at Taj Kovalam in Nov. From our very 1st visit recce to the final wedding event, we are at a loss of words to express our joy and gratitude to entire team of Taj, Kovalam... just adding few names and their team behind Mr. Suku, Head Chef Manoj, Chef Rawat, Sajil, Anu, Abhishek, Sebastian, Shiva, Mani and their entire front office team, Bell Captain. Though we were there only for a day, we had an excellent time at this beautiful and magnificent property. Sebastian checked us in, made us comfortable and conversant with the property layout. Extremely courteous. We had an excellent Pizza at bait and then a high tea. Dinner time we asked for Thai green curry, the young chef made it for us though not on the menu yet. It was one of the best we have had. At dinner and breakfast Abhishek Kumar, Catering Assistant, made us comfortable and ensured we tried every delicacy on the breakfast menu.it was such a pleasure to converse with him on his native place Benaras and food in general. Sous Chef Harish Rawat had made one of the best Cholas we have rated in along time . Since we were travelling after breakfast, he ensured we carried some stuff for our journey and finally a cake for our Anniversary. Overall it was a wow experience and we hope to visit again.

My partner and I have just returned from a truly rejuvenating 5-night stay at Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa Kovalam, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The entire experience was a beautiful blend of relaxation, adventure, and sensory delight. Our room was clean, spacious, and offered a stunning partial view of the Arabian Sea. However, the hotel needs to upgrade its facilities and make it more senior friendly due to its step style design to get to rooms and around the location. Nevertheless, the true magic happened every evening. The hotel's location provided a front-row seat to what can only be described as nature's daily masterpiece. The sunsets over the Kovalam coast was a fiery spectacle of orange, pink, and purple—absolutely unforgettable. The Wellness Spa was worth every moment. The therapists were highly skilled and intuitive. The Kerala food was mouth watering prepared by Chef Harish Rewat and the restaurant crew lead by Abhishek Kumar went out of their way to make it a culinary experience. The ground transport arrangements to and from airport and day trip to Kanyakumari was smooth and safe rides. Overall, the staff at every level of service was courteous, attentive and gracious that ensured a comfortable and memorable stay.

We stayed for 3 days with our kids (7y, 3y). We came to celebrate our anniversary. The property is amazing. We got a photoshoot done, all arranged by the Taj Staff. The resort is very beautiful with stunning sea and sun-set views, backwater views. The staff took great care and went above and beyond in making sure this trip is a comfortable and memorable one for us. Special mention to Harish Rawat, Abhishek, Sebastian, Jeseentha - they made us feel at home.

The best resort hands down in Kovalam beach ! We stayed for 3 days here and it was absolutely amazing what this property had to offer. Its ambiance and architecture held the essence of Kerala along with providing its amazing 5-star services. The rooms were spacious and cleaned punctually. The property is huge and is essentially in 2 parts: main resort and Bait resturant along with backwaters. Area near the Bait resturant was near the beach one could enjoy the strong breeze off Arabian sea. While it rained on and off, you could still enjoy complimentary evening snacks from the cozy resturant near the beach. Most activities were also near the Bait resturant like mocktail making, pizza making and others. You can enjoy complimentary boat ride in the backwater or have a fun evening with family playing cricket, football etc. Talking about food, the breakfast spread was great and every dish/drink was delectable. A huge shout-out to their exceptional hospitality. Having been to other 5-stars in other places including Taj, their warmth and hospitality was second to none by a huge margin. They were extremely convivial and made sure we were satisfied with the service completely. From the sous chefs like Harish to staff like Abhishek, it was a pleasure to see such service and geniality from all the staff. Right till our check-out, the entire experience makes me come back again to Kovalam. All in all, a must stay when in Kovalam beach !
