Very quaint. Love the old architecture. Rooms were quiet, rarely heard other guests. Staff was very helpful setting me up to do a Zoom class, since the room was too small to accommodate the equipment needed for the Zoom meeting.

The rooms were small but quaint. The bathroom door did not close fully or latch. The floor had a definite lean to it, not unnatural for a building 125 years old....

The Inn is located in the "Bay View Association," an historic district that was established by the Chautauqua Institution in 1875. There are over 400 Victorian cottages in the area, big and small and the area offers cultural programming during the summer. We were a bit early to take advantage of it. The homes were just beginning to be opened up for the season. The Inn is within walking distance of many beautiful ones.

Our room was quite small and the bathroom postage stamp size. The restaurant had not opened for the season, so we had to drive to dinner in the historic downtown area. The breakfast offering was equivalent to an inexpensive motel.
