Quality Inn Homewood Birmingham I-65

Very poor bathroom area, deteriorating grout, toilet, toilet tissue holder, light switches, soap dish, rusted shower curtain rod, holes in wall above sink, broken ac/ heater vent and it was nasty.

I don't know why this hotel had low review score in hotel.com. But this is a super clean hotel and we had a very good experience. We checked in to the hotel at midnight without any waiting. Breakfast was very tasty with both hot and cold food. I definitely recommend to anybody who likes to have a comfortable stay.

Booked 2 rooms here for Parents weekend at UAB. The place is close to UAB but the condition of the hotel is deplorable. It was dirty and even after we asked to have one of the rooms re-cleaned, they didn't do it. I also asked an attendant in the hallway for clean towels and they didn't do that either. You couldn't even see out of the windows in my room. I complained again at check-out and was given $24.00 as compensation....haha. I hope Quality Inns parent company and Hotels.com checks this out.

Noisy, bathroom door would not close, room needs a total redo, nice bed, TV, and light fixtures. Window curtains are showing abuse from all the renters. Will not be staying again.could not find an ice machine.

The rooms were clean and it was in a convenient spot.

The hotel wasn't bad, but they should fire the front desk help. I had to yell at her when I was standing right in front of her to get her to look up from her phone. You have to put down a $50 deposit on a room, either by card( was told I'd get it back in 4 days) or cash. I used cash. Despite calling the front desk and letting them know I'd be checking out soon, I thought I was gona have to make a scene or call the police to get my $50, back. They will tell you they have truck parking when they don't. If you're driving a box truck, you'll be Ok. Dont even think of trying to drive a full size rig in there. Luckily, I was pulling a short trailer or else I would have never gotten in and out and lost my money on the room.

The hotel and rooms stink and are in disrepair. ....

My room had roaches disgusting my room smelled like dirty bleach water terrible experience, i will never go back to this facility

I LOVED THE RECEPTIONIST!!!! But when I checked into my room there were empty beer bottles under the desk and pony tail holders under the covers...… not clean

Something went wrong with the payment between expedia and the hotel. I think it was the hotels issue. But they made us wait in the lobby for 3 hours while they figured it out. They didn't figure it out until the next morning but after 3 hours of trying to check in, they finally have us a room. It was disgusting. Cigarette burns in the sheets, water damaged ceilings, floors not vacuumed, trash in the bedside table, dirty walls, bed bugs. A total nightmare. They gave us a different room and it was what a hotel room should be. They also try to make you forget your $50 dollar deposit so they can keep it. It took us 1 hour of pulling teeth to get a dumb $50 back from this terrible place. Its not worth the hassle. The pool was also dark green when we arrived.
