Quality Inn Homewood Birmingham I-65

My son woke up with bed bug bites. otherwise the hotel was clean, staff was friendly and it was nice to have breakfast the next morning. There were flies inside the pastry holder, so that was disappointing, but the rest of breakfast was fine.

The place is ok for the price we paid for a quick overnight stay. On the surface the place was clean, but the carpet could use a deep cleaning. The only major complaint I have is that my toilet ran all night until I removed the lid to fix it. The area is fairly decent, directly across from department of treasury. Very noticeable police presence with speeding traffic coming off the highway. Being close to the highway was not as bad as I thought the noice was minimal. We all slept so deep and comfortably in ur double room. Breakfast has a good selection but the restocking of food could be a little faster because the weekend we went the hotel was booked with sports teams, family reunions and people visiting the Caribbean Festival so the plac was packed with guest. Overall our stay was good.

Our hotel room smelled like it had been wet for months! Ceiling peeling off. Small small beds. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Wasn’t the quality I was expecting

Breakfast Options weren't great. Some corridors had smoke smell. Otherwise everything was good given our budget.

Never again did not state their is a pet charge anywhere on web site or hotel

It was nasty, small, dirty, and unfriendly staff. Looks like a hotel for crack heads. Would not let my dog sleep here

Noisy!!!! Not just highway. Had people outside the room talking all night. Could see maybe one night but both nights. Could not call about it or the parking. The ones doing it were African Americans and front desk were too. So nothing gets done. Reported a car parked in no parking zone with bad licey plates and was told nothing could be done. Bed had hollow space in the middle. So you laid in a hole. Room was none smoking but the room stunk!
