Jesmond Executive Villas

I stayed at Jesmond Executive Villas in Newcastle and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The rooms were dirty upon arrival — we had to clean them ourselves just to feel somewhat comfortable. One toilet didn’t work, the spa was non-functional, and there was a cleaning cupboard bizarrely located inside our room. The smoke detector had been deliberately covered, and one of the tables was being held up by a piece of wood, which was incredibly unsafe. Most concerning of all, someone attempted to break into our room during the night. We immediately contacted head office and spoke with reception about the situation. Despite raising all of these serious issues, we received no compensation or real resolution. We ended up having to pay for a two-bedroom unit just to feel safe and get through the rest of our stay. Overall, this property felt neglected, unsafe, and unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

I had a great stay at Jesmond Hotel in Newcastle. The check-in and check-out process was super easy with clear instructions and convenient code access—no hassle at all. The hotel was quiet, clean, and tidy, making it a comfortable place to relax. It’s also in a fantastic location with McDonald’s, supermarkets, and other shops all within walking distance. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay in Newcastle!

Great Villa , comfortable bed , good size , not too far from everything

When I first entered the property, I was very pleased with how big it was and the facilities in the room. But after being in there five minutes I realise the place hadn’t been cleaned and was infested with German cockroaches. The soap was still in the shower from the previous guests as well as empty shower gel bottles and even a lovely sticker from a lime stuck to the wall of the shower. The bedsheets had a burn hole in them and hair on them. The lounge is beds and chairs are all very worn and tattered. But the worst thing was the cockroaches they were everywhere. I even found a dead one in the kettle. I specifically booked the property because I like to cook my own meals when I’m away, but there were roaches all over the fry pans and in the cutlery drawer. The place was cheap but I will never stay there again.

It was the best-priced accommodation with luxury services such as the spa. The staff were helpful and great. I am recommending this accommodation to all my colleagues

Easy check in service. Parking provided. Manager considered my request and provided a room away from main traffic areas.

People banging on the door in the middle of the night. Very unsettling. Really cheap. Now know the reason why.

Arrived early at 12 midday, was told we'd get an email when room was ready. Called at 1pm to get access to garage, paid $25 online. Called at 2pm. Rooms not available til 3pm. told to wait for email. No email by 3pm so called, was told they would send me the email. I would never have booked this place if I had read the reviews. My mistake. Room was over the road in Azzuro block. which appeared much more modern than the original complex. Room was ok but had a red stain on carpet. Blood? Got to bed at 9pm, at 9.45pm a very loud thud and a guy screamed "Shut the f..k up". Don't know whether it was above or below us, but it frightened us, after we read other reviews that some drunk people live in this block. Thankfully we slept ok with no more disturbance. Felt really relieved to leave the place. Never again will I book without reading the reviews.
