AluaSoul Mallorca Resort - Adults only

Another lovely stay at the AluaSoul, all staff are amazing, lovely, friendly and so hard working in the heat, I seen a few faces from last year and new ones from this year. Listening to some bad reviews I do have to say I agree with some of them as there seemed to be some differences, what seemed to be cutbacks, from last year. The chiefs seemed new or not to care as much as last year and other staff (not all by the way) and were slow in cooking and not as tentitive and forthcoming, last year there were more show cooking than this year and so much more choice. The other negatives that I agree with is the pool area, floor and tables did not have a clean, only noticed one little part on my 6 day having a hose down and tables never got wiped, I do however disagree with the rest of the building not being clean, I witnessed on a number of occasions the floor being moped and then ignorant people walking through with very sandy shoes and walking straight through, this is why some areas are dirty !! This year we took my daughter and she said her room and parts or the hotel were in need of renovations, cracks in walls, dirt walls etc. I must be blinded to all of this unless I had too many mojitos 😜 all in all a very much needed relaxing break - thank you Aluasoul xx very much recommend

The hotel was basic at best … our room was tiny and the toilet is literally in the room with an opaque swing glass door no privacy at all!! The views are the reason I gave the hotel 2 star as they are spectacular The beach next to the hotel is so busy you struggle to get on it and beds in there are full by 8am The hotel itself pool areas were ok… more regular cleaning would get rid of the ant issue…. but if you want a bed in the sun, I suggest you get up at 6am, as this is what everyone else did! We paid extra to upgrade to MyFavourite Club ... don’t bother! No beds by the “exclusive” pool .. unless you did the 6am rat run! The club room had a few sweets, warm fruit and stale sandwiches. And when you get to the hotel it is only €25 per day to use the exclusive facilities… Local drink only on all inc even with the “upgrade” The buffet is small and not a lot for vegetarians unless you like cheese all over it. I was really disappointed in relation to the money we paid we expected more This is not a quiet adult only resort it is noisy the area between the hotel is public and full of children

We had a wonderful stay at AluaSoul Mallorca and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with well-maintained facilities and comfortable rooms that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere throughout the property is calm, welcoming, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was all the à la carte restaurants. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, and offered a great variety of options. Every meal felt like a special occasion, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to the staff of La Trattoria, they made our night special. The staff truly made our experience memorable. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality created a warm and welcoming environment throughout our stay. A special thank you goes to Maru, the manager, whose kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. She clearly cares deeply about both her guests and her team, and her dedication is reflected in the exceptional service provided throughout the hotel. I’m writing this review to warn other people not to go to the Alua Soul Hotel in Mallorca. On the first night my boyfriend got food poisoning within less than 24 hours - we ate breakfast and dinner as we were all inclusive. The only food he ate different to me was the cold meats and he had three types of eggs at breakfast however, we did eat the meat at night time as well. (We ONLY ate here) please also note that most of the food is lukewarm as well. To top this off due to him only being able to drink water we found out that the bottled water was €2 (I’ve never known this in an all inclusive) Also the bathroom doesn’t have an extractor fan or window so you can imagine how it was for us. About 4 days into the hotel we saw a doctor on our floor going into someone’s room and they had a stool sample and gloves on. We also asked around and 3 other people in the hotel got food poisoning and they were also very ill. I do not wish this on anyone - no one comes on holiday to get ill. I would rather write this so you can spend your money on a better hotel. As it was unfortunately wasted for us! 😊

Welcome glass of cava was a great start The location is nice with pools and beach and restaurant and shops nearby The beach is super nice Rooms were clean and the cleaning service was extra friendly Breakfast was good many options available The bartenders at the bar were specially funny and friendly Reception staff and all staff were friendly

The hotel had many restaurants but they close at 8pm which is very unSpanish. The hotel seems beautiful first but it has many hidden costs (sunbeds you need to pay a separate fee or belong to some exclusive club to enter an area). Not so many sunbeds available for ”normal” guests unless you throw your towel there at 8AM. While you can walk to the restaurants it is a bit challenging to get a taxi even if you book it in advance from reception (we waited about 20-30 min each time). The hotel is quite big in comparison with the reception so it is a bit difficult to reach to them to ask question. The hotel kindly offers carrying the suitcases but it started to get stressful as the whole hotel checking out asked for the same.

It does take me alot to right a review when something isn't great, I have stayed in alot of all inclusive hotels and this just had a few things that would make me not want to return.- we stayed for 5 nights I am currently 5 months pregnant so obviously I wasn't drinking but still booked all inclusive because I thought it would be worth it with what you normally get included, but actually I didn't realise how much isn't included. There is one buffet restaurant, and then some other restaurants you can pre- book for dinner in the other hotel, which we did do one night at the Mediterranean which was lovely so would recommend that. The pool bar you can only eat at after 3pm if you are all inclusive or you have to pay any other time, which meant you have to walk and eat in the buffet for lunch if you want anything before then, we just didn't want to do that everyday when you are relaxing round pool- and I wouldn't be paying for that food, the nachos were stale, the hot dog looked anaemic, the chicken burger was good You can't get bottle water anywhere unless you pay?! this was actually the most insane thing, they will give you cups but if you want a bottle you have to pay, I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT EVER Ice creams- you have to pay extra for some cocktails like aperol spritz or a cider you have to pay for? I wouldn't even class those as premium drinks, I understand some hotels more expensive wines or spirits The food overall was okay, we actually ate out for dinner 3 times in the marina as it does get boring quickly, but you can tell the kitchen staff work hard Rooms again ok, we booked a sea view but was right above the terrace so could be loud some nights, very small bathroom, the door basically touches the toilet but they have but a small door stop right infront of the toilet? we both stepped on it multiple times- very painful The hotel is very busy, the sunbeds are packed like sardines- but on the last day we sat at the other smaller pool and was so much nicer, better pool with steps and more comfortable beds- wish we sat there everyday The nice cabana beds that they advertise you have to pay for, minimum 30 euros for the day but doesn't come with anything, I've paid that at other hotels but you get a waiter, fruit and drink for that price The staff overall are friendly but you can tell the restaurant is short staffed, you had to get your own drinks alot of the times and tables weren't cleaned quick enough so often had to sit and call them over to clean and for cutlery We asked or a iron for the first 3 days, eventually got one on day 3 I don't know how much extra you get for 'my favourite club' maybe that would be worth it but I would not class this as a all inclusive package with the amount of extra you have to pay for silly little things

Fantastic break at Alua Soul Cala D’Or Majorca. Amazing location, two gorgeous pools with access to one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. Best breakfast location ever overlooking the turquoise sea. Staff were amazing - especially Elwira, Felix and Camilla who couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely return!

Despite several reminders and multiple attempts to contact them, they have still not provided me with an invoice for my stay.
