Waikoloa Colony Villas

Nice location. Stayed there before but in different unit. This unit needs maint. Light bulbs a working shower and working shower door tile cracked eveywhere tile grout dirty in bath Blinds in master missing valance Other wise it was good. I have stayed in a unit in same complex but it was through the owner. Big difference

The staff were welcoming, professional and the most friendly and attentive we've experienced at a condo resort. They quickly responded to any requests, set up an air mattress in our room, and offered many nice touches including chocolates upon arrival and complimentary DVD rentals. The facilities were well attended to, and the care of staff was evident. Our condo was exceptionally clean. The condo was well-equipped, but a bit dated throughout. Perfectly comfortable.

We were pleasantly surprised how lovely our condo and resort grounds were. The two-story condo was beautifully decorated and had a full kitchen, huge master bath, washer/dryer, good size bedrooms/living room, and a small patio, and upper bedroom deck near the pool side. It also came with a Playstation and free DVD rentals from the resort office. We found nothing lacking in the kitchen, if you were going to do a fair amount of cooking, like we did. The kitchen appliances included blenders, a rice cooker, coffee maker. toaster and ample dishes/bakeware/pots and skillets. We were surprised to find it equipped with folding beach chairs, beach toys, and an ice chest to use during our stay. A beach and two shopping centers are nearby. If you were going to the Big Island we would highly recommend this place.

We stayed in a beautiful 3 bd condo in the Colony Villas. The location is awesome. You are right across from the HGV Bay Club on Beach Boulevard. Everything is so close in this area. We had a car but the kids rented scooters and could get everywhere they needed to go. The accommodations were very spacious and clean. This is a condo so you do not have some of the luxuries of the hotels; maid service is every other day and linens are changed every 5 days. There is a good supply of kitchen items. You will need to bring everything that you need to cook with ( salt, pepper etc) There are no hourly charges for tennis which was a huge plus for us. They had better tennis courts then the Hilton Waikaloa courts. The pool area was beautiful but small so it could get busy. It is close to A bay which has free parking and a great beach with free lounge chairs if you get their early enough. You are 15min from beach 69( mile marker) and Hapuna beach going away from Kona and 15 min from the state beach between mile marker 87-88 which was our favorite beach. I would stay here again for sure.

The unit was very clean and well maintained. Location is good and close to everything in the Kona area.

Wonderful condominium complex with extremely helpful staff. When there were problems they were quick to address them. As an example, we had a problem with the remote control on one of the television/DVD sets. When they couldn't fix the remote they went out and brought in a new television set. Shopping and restaurants are nearby and if you're a golfer it's paradise.

We found our stay here very comfortable. The space was large, the rooms fine. The separate bathroom for the kids was great as was the washer dryer. Coffee provided was pretty weak, and some dishwashing soap would have been appreciated. However the kitchen was otherwise well equipped. Small but nice pool. You'll drive to most places from here, but very affordable.

Very nice Condo in Waikoloa Beach! Only 10 minutes from beautiful Hapuna Beach.

We had a three bedroom villa which was beautifully decorated, clean, with a huge kitchen area. The bedrooms were upstairs so the living area downstairs was large. The large living room area had cable TV and a sofa bed. Other amenities included a swimming pool and tennis court. Maid service is every other day. Since this is a condo project and not a "hotel", there are no snack shops, ice machines, or other conveniences. The property is located about 5 minutes from Queen's Market Place in Waikoloa where there is a market, restaurants, shops and a food court. King's has the convenience shop and higher end restaurants and clothing shops. However, both are too far to walk..
