Waikoloa Colony Villas

Really great experience! Quiet & clean...very relaxing, the pools were great & our bed was comfortable!

Beautiful property in a very nice location. The 2 bedroom condo was new and beautifully furnished. Good shopping and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You do need a car to see the island.

We used this as a "tag end" to a family vacation when we couldn't extend our stay at another resort. It proved to be perfect.

We were 4 adultsand 2 teens. The three bedroom unit we had was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was huge and we were able to spread out and not feel like we were tripping over each other. The staff were friendly and the unit was clean. The bbq by the pool was great and we used it every night during our stay.

This is not a hotel but a condo in a resort town 20 minutes north by car from the Kona airport. In the town, there are several nice restaurants, food courts, and shops. The Aston Waikoloa Colony Villas has 2 pools and 1 tennis court so family can enjoy their stay so much. Also the facility is perfectly clean! I traveled one town to another and stayed this condo only one night but actually my family and I wanted to stay all nights at this villas in the Big island. I definitely reccommend this condo to family travelers.

I had a very nice and relaxing time in this place. I was in a hotel very close to Colony Villas last year. I can say that if you stay even one night in this place you would never prefer to try other hotels.

We spent a week here in the middle of October 2011. The buildings and grounds are maintained in top form, but since this is one of the more recently built complexes, I guess that's to be expected. We had booked a one bedroom, but received a two bedroom at the same price. The unit was large and nicely furnished. The management at the front office was very friendly, with advice and tips on activities and places to eat. While not exactly in walking distance, the King's Shops and Queens Market is just a couple minutes by car. Our main interest in staying here was the close proximity to A-bay and Hapuna. The last time we stayed down in Keauhou and the drive to these lovely beaches consumed too much "island time". We did drive down to Kona about every day, but having a place close by to shower, change or take a nap after snorkeling was great. We didnt see a lot of other guests during our stay at the Villas, probably due to the time of year and the economy. I imagine it will be busier between Christmas and March as people come to escape the winter weather. I highly recommend looking at the Waikoloa Colony Villas if you want to escape the noise and crowds found at the big resorts in the area. A big mahalo to Desiree and the rest of the Aston staff for insuring our stay there was pleasant and trouble free. We look forward to staying there again.

Great spot for a family holiday; we were one teenager, parents + grandparents and all enjoyed our stay in a 2 bdrm unit. Great pool/spa facility and excellent tennis court. Well-appointed units with excellently equipped kitchen. Airbed not so comfortable for teenager.

We found our stay at the Colony Villas to be a great one and a great value. Our 3 bedroom unit gave us a lot of room to spread out. The unit (1002) was well appointed and the property was beautiful. Check in and check out were a breeze and found the staff to be very helpful. The pool area was pretty and well maintained. My only suggestion was that the living room sectional and portions of the living room carpet could use a deep cleaning. That being said, the guests need to do their part to keep their dirty feet off the furniture!!!

The colony villas was a fantastic place to stay. The condo was clean and beautiful. could not have asked for more. It was even better then what we had expected.. I would for sure go back
