The Royal Hotel Hull

Hotel is in good location. It needs an update in the near future - worn out looking! Our room was very cold we tried to sort our heater out - it was on but no heat!

Nice period style hotel, close to the old and new parts of the city

So convenient for rail travellers, right at the end of the station platform - so good to see after a delayed, cold, wet journey. Received a very warm welcome from reception staff. Room was a good size, clean and pleasant ( if a little too hot ) and there was a nice powerful shower. Large, good quality towels. Tea and coffee replaced daily. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and the food was delicious. Again, very friendly staff. Like many older hotels, the decor needs updating, but overall excellent - highly recommended.

Handy location. All basic facilities are available in room. However, they need to look after corridors and lifts.

Good location, breakfast was fantastic, staff were great. Parking is costly however, added to the cost of the room still great value for money.

Conveniently situated in the city centre. Plenty of parking available and didn't think £8 for 24 hours was unreasonable. What's not to like?

Perfect location in hull city centre. Needs updating. Staff could have been friendlier, especailly on check in and alsonon reuqest of a towel for my daughter.

Rundown common areas. However for around £29 a night, can’t complain.
