Hotel Bella Vista Zermatt

My stay at Bella Vista in Zermatt was absolutely wonderful! The hotel offers a cozy and charming atmosphere with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. I stayed in Room 9, which had an exceptional, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn—waking up to that sight was truly magical. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and beautifully designed for relaxation. A special mention to Natalie and Janine, who were truly exceptional! They were extremely sweet, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel so welcome. Another highlight was the delicious fondue dinner on Tuesday—a must-try! The flavors were incredible, and it made for such a cozy and authentic Swiss experience. We also loved that we always had the same table for meals, which made our dining experience feel even more personal and familiar. The breakfast was also fantastic, with fresh and high-quality options to start the day right. The wellness area was a perfect place to unwind after exploring Zermatt. The only downside is the location—it’s about a 10-minute walk downslope to the town center, which is fine in good weather but can be tricky when covered with snow esp when travelling with elderly. However, the peaceful setting and incredible views more than make up for it! I would highly recommend Bella Vista to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay. I also love the sweet treats when checking in and checking out.

I can’t speak highly enough of Bella Vista. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and stayed over Christmas and New Year. The communication beforehand was 5* answering every query I had and going above and beyond getting us the room we wanted for our whole stay. We checked in late after the reception had closed but the instructions and welcome notes were perfect. Breakfast was delicious every single day - Vera was so lovely and remembered our coffee order on day 3, bringing us “the usual”. All staff members were warm and friendly. Special mention to Nathalie who welcomed us on our first day and from then on was always helpful. Massage and spa, incredible. Ski and boot room, convenient. Glühwein, best I’ve ever had. Fondue night, delicious. I wish we could come again. I would have happily stayed for longer and longer. Thank you so much ❤️

This is an excellent family run hotel - simple but beautifully presented rooms with a quiet but efficient ambiance. Lovely local breakfast and excellent adult only spa. Well located on the Sunegger mountainside, a short walk from the central parts of Zermatt

Absolutely wonderful little Hotel. Led with the heart. Infrastructure great/all you wish for. Service fantastic. Great breakfast. Very clean, still very environmental conscious. Centrally located, with a 5-7 Min. walk (a little uphill) to the Bahnhofstrasse. Can only recommend this jewel.

This hotel is truly an oasis. The hotel staff is beyond superb, they were so incredibly helpful and pleasant, helping us navigate our trip and time at Zermatt, advising and making great suggestions. Having the ski and boot room are so helpful. Breakfast is an incredible selection of home made foods, everything you could want, with an lovely cook making items fresh. This is great for couples or for families, a cozy spot to enjoy and relax by the fire with wine, or in the spa. We will be coming back specifically for this hotel, I can't recommend it more. It beat our expectations at every turn.

Breakfast was awesome and our view and location were wonderful. Small family hotel at Christmas was just perfect.
