Jacaranda Hotel Nairobi

The receptionists are so unfriendly, except for one Mary, the food is repeatetive and boring. The rooms are clean with a good ambiance.

My stay at the Jacaranda Hotel in Nairobi was both pleasant and memorable. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, conveniently close to several shopping malls, including my personal favourite, the Sarit Centre. This accessibility added great value to my overall experience. The room was clean, tastefully furnished, and offered a lovely view of the hotel’s well-maintained garden an inviting and tranquil space to relax in. I was equally impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, who consistently made me feel welcome and well-attended to throughout my stay. Overall, Jacaranda Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient environment, and I would gladly consider staying there again.

Good location and good breakfast. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms outdated but had everything I needed for one night. Overall good value.

The hotel had an excellent reception, and was very welcoming and pleasant. I loved the service, the food and the workshops. One suggestion to increase satisfaction levels would be to provide an iron and ironing board in the rooms, to provide more convenience for guests.

I was oh my way to another hoteI when I saw Jacaranda on the way, and decided to change my mind. I particularly requested for a quiet room. However, past 11 pm, I realized my room was sandwiched between 2 rowdy rooms, who were making loud noises and dragging furniture. When I complained, I was offered to be taken to a new room, but I asked, "if indeed there was a quiet room, why didn't you take me to that room in the first place as per my request?" I asked them to ask the noise makers to give me sleeping chance. The noises subsided about 30 minutes past midnight. However, at 6:45am, I was rudely awoken by the cleaning team banging buckets. I reluctantly woke my sleepy head and checked out. Never again!!

The hotel is well located, has great ambiance, comfortable and clean rooms, and great breakfast. The staff is the best I have come across as I travel in Africa.
