Adventure Inn

I must say that I really enjoyed my stay at Adventure Inn! The staff is very friendly, and my room was clean and had a comfortable bed. I ate dinner one night in their restaurant and ordered the New York strip. It was cooked perfectly and came with delicious vegetables. I’d recommend staying here when visiting Costa Rica.

From the free hotel shuttle, that was included from the airport for our stay, to the wonderful customer service of Paula at the front desk and to the delicious food and service of Viviana and Christian, at the restaurant, Thank you for making our stay for celebration of our birthdays so amazing! We highly recommend this hotel and will be back again soon!

Love , love , love it here! I’ll say it again , every time we come it’s like going to the comfy cottage where everyone feels at home. This is not a high end keeping up appearances hotel, this is a let your hair down and relax experience that is sorely missing in a lot of places. Comfy couches and little nooks and crannies to relax and read a good book or catch up on emails. A pool to get some sun. And if you are so inclined, a fitness room with the basics. Go explore, there is charm around every corner!

Paula at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful! Our room was spotless clean and the food in the restaurant was delicious! The owner came out to meet us and I thanked him in person too! We will be back!

I only stayed here for one night and the hotel had everything I needed. The shuttle was a little confusing on arrival, but smooth on the return. The hotel has a small gym with all the basics. The staff was very nice, from the front desk, to the kitchen staff, and the guard. I don't eat meat and the kitchen staff made some adjustments for me (special thanks to the chef for the tasty guacamole with plantains and pico de gallo), which was much appreciated.

I have stayed at The Adventure Inn numerous times over the last 10 years. It has always been a pleasure to stay here. The owner Eric is always available to answer questions, and ensure your stay is a good experience. The front desk staff, and restaurant/bar staff have always been friendly, and treat you like a friend/family. Such a treat knowing that I don't have to worry about anything upon my arrival, or departure. Muchas gracias por todo, Eric y empleados!! <3 Pura Vida!

This hotel was booked for us by a travel agent in Costa Rica as part of a package. The hotel staff did a great job for us. They picked us up promptly from the airport, then welcomed us with a smooth check in and our choice of room. The room was large, clean, comfortable, with seemingly new, nice bathroom. The hotel is a converted old mansion which gives it a charming feel compared to block hotels. The wait staff during meals were very friendly and gave excellent service. Shuttle back to the airport was on time too so all in all it was an excellent stay. Oh and I loved the coffee pot in my room where I made fresh, delicious Costa Rican coffee as strong as like!

We ALWAYS go to Adventure Inn before our flight the following day. It is so Pura Vida. Pool/Hottub; Restaurant and bar on premises. You’re still in Costa Rica and not at a holiday inn ☮️

We absolutely loved this funky little place. We arrived to SJO at midnight (from Los Angeles) and knew we didn't want to drive that late. The front desk was so accommodating and gave us 3 rooms all next to each other. He even helped us get some snacks and drinks after being stuck in the airport for hours. We got up the next morning and had a great (free) breakfast in the bar and were on our way down to Ojochal. Overall, the perfect little spot to spend a night (or two). Thank you again!

Close and convenient with a free shuttle to the airport. We didn’t see that we had to reserve the shuttle at least 24 hours before and they called a taxi and picked up the tab. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful as were all the staff we interacted with. The room was very spacious and comfortable.
