I can’t say we didn’t like this, but being on the third floor was difficult on my wife having had recent knee replacement surgery. I should have researched the room location better.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at The Heron Inn and Day Spa. The room was clean and well-kept. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had at a B&B, not too firm, not to soft, and we never felt the other person change positions in the middle of the night! The jetted tub was relaxing and the in-room fire place was cozy during a rainy trip. Olin took great care of us at check-in and made us breakfast the next morning, which was a lovely way to start the day. The location is quite convenient. It's just a few blocks from the main street in La Conner. We enjoyed the DVD library, and even had a couples massage the day we checked out. They gave us a late check-out time to accommodate our massage appointments. We will definitely stay there the next time we visit the area!
