"Great place to stay, staff and food excellent"

10.0

Ideal location and the town brilliant for shopping.

Parking was an issue, having to feed meters every 3 hours during the day and proved to be expensive

Buona la cena nel loro ristorante.

La ventola del condizionatore era appena fuori dalla finestra e disturbava molto. Lo sciacquone del water non funzionava.

"Pleasant stay in Cirencester. Will stay at the Fleece again"

8.0

The room was very equipped . Coffee and tea making facilities , tv and the bathroom was very clean . Lovely toiletries to use . The only complaint was that the view from the window was so bad that a net curtain was provided to obscure the view We have stayed here before and other rooms have better views so just unlucky on this occasion Lovely breakfast

The food could have been better . My husband had sausages and he thought they were just supermarket quality rather than good butchers I had gnocchi but the taste was overpowered by the capers . The lady on table opposite had the same and she left all of hers

"Great staff"

8.0

The Fleece is in a great location. The downside is no air conditioning and no elevator. However, the rooms cooled off at night and the hotel provided fans. Because we are old, we did get help taking our luggage up the steps. The breakfast was great, but the very best part was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again!

"Good location in a beautiful town."

8.0

Right in the centre of the beautiful town of Cirencester, The Fleece is an attractive rambling place offering the perhaps the best accommodation around. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was huge but very good.

The whole place is getting a little tired around the edges and needs a spruce-up to justify the prices.

"Relatively expensive but a nice experience nonetheless"

8.0

Old school, coaching inn type of accommodation so lots of stairs and narrow passageways. The room was a little bit tired but nothing too bad. Would have welcomed instructions to the pod coffee machine! Room wasn't exactly spotless but nothing worth bringing to the attention of the management. Open windows and a fan were appreciated in the heat. Staff were good. Breakfast was very good. Brilliant location and very popular - lots of (mostly occupied) tables outside and very pleasant atmosphere. Would stay here again if passing through - nice town.

It was relatively expensive for what it was but you're in the Cotswolds.....
