Coco Palm

Coco Palm is an excellent hotel with lots of Caribbean charm - a real gem! We visited a couple of weeks ago and have just rebooked again for November! The hotel location is fabulous- in the heart of Rodney Bay. A short walk to Reduit Beach and a 20 minute stroll to the beautiful marina. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby with a great choice of cuisine. Friday night street party in the nearby Gros Islet is an absolute must! The atmosphere in the hotel is very chilled, reception and bar staff are helpful, welcoming and friendly. As a special offer we had the enhanced breakfast package which included a delicious waitress served lunch and all day drinks. Excellent value with cocktails galore on the menu! Rooms are comfortable, generous in size and cleaned daily to a high standard. Good air con, ceiling fan and tea /coffee making facility. Everything you need. The pool area is stylish - bordered with lush palm trees-exactly as the pictures show. Great for relaxing and soaking up the sun! I’d highly recommend Coco Palm for a Caribbean escape. It ticks all the boxes! St Lucia is a stunning island with dramatic scenery and lots to see - if you can drag yourself away from the hotel!

All divisions of this hotel are singing from the same song sheet, they are all striving to offer the best experience to guests. The staff are the strength of this hotel, we experienced nothing but friendliness and smiles. We booked B&B but were offered the lunch and drinks offer as were a lot of other guests. Take this because it is excellent. The food at this hotel is worthy of a much higher rating. The breakfast is buffet style with an omelette station. There was plenty of choice for everyone with items varying slightly on a daily basis. The lunch menu in MHO was outstanding with an extensive menu and table service, I felt that we ate like kings and queens. The drinks service was also outstanding, cocktails were a good quality with plenty of variety, the draught Piton was just what the doctor ordered on a hot day and the wine was perfectly quaffable given that it was included. The bar staff and mixologists were fantastic. Housekeeping was another outstanding area. Our room was spotlessly cleaned every day with towels and linen changed on a regular basis. Our room smelt as fresh as a daisy every day we returned. Front of house couldn’t have been more helpful!! The culinary team were faultless. We couldn’t believe the high standard of cooking and presentation. In particular we enjoyed the fish dishes……. Mahi Mahi and Snapper were amazing. Well done to the chef’s and their team. The location of the hotel is excellent, 7 minutes to the beach, similar into the village and a plethora of restaurants close by. We ate out twice for dinner, once at Spinnakers and once at Jaques Waterfront. Our room was a garden room, it was very quiet. It had two large beds, a good sized en suite, plenty of storage space and a safe. The aircon and fan kept us cool throughout our stay. Do not hesitate if you are thinking of booking this hotel. Like a lot of other reviews, I cannot fault this hotel. We booked on a B&B basis for 12 nights with the lunch and drinks free upgrade offer. The location is excellent within walking distance of lots of good restaurants. Highly recommend the Spice of India and Amici both a 5 min walk from the hotel. We had lunch frequently in the hotel and dinner 3 nights out of the 12. The food quality and quantity is excellent. Try the cobbler desert! The hotel staff were all lovely and the hotel housekeeping are the best, rooms cleaned daily efficiently and towels etc replaced as required. Reception are also very helpful and will book you taxis etc and assist you with whatever you required. We chose a rear garden room and it was lovely quiet and a nice size with 2 double beds. No noise at all from any of the local bars during our stay. You need to be up early for the best sun-beds, same as most places I find when the hotel is busy. We did the land and sea speedboat tour with Knotty girl tours, again highly recommend. (Google it). They will pick you up and return you to the hotel, you can book online in their website. We took a taxi from the hotel to the Gros Islet Friday night street party (2 mile) it was fun and felt very safe. Arrange with your taxi to pick you back up at the time you would like. The best beach is a 10 min max walk away from the hotel, 2 beds and an umbrella will cost you about 20-30 USD. We took a small amount of XCD however we found everywhere pretty much takes card payments. There is a bank with an ATM next door to the hotel although I did not need it, so unsure of the bank charges. . Coco Palm is under rated at 3 star for sure. I am sure you will enjoy as much as we did.

Where do I start All the staff were amazing going out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic stay. We had gone on bed and breakfast but got uprated to lunch and drink package this was perfect for us we enjoyed lunch when we had pool days. This also allowed to eat out in the evening. We were near to lots of good restaurants and ate at different one’s just about every night. We did have dinner at the Coco Palms one night this was excellent with the impeccable service we revived all holiday. The room was super, looking over the pool and cleaned every day to a high standard. The pool was clean and safe. The area was safe to walk round with the lovely beach only a 5 mins walk. The marina is walkable in 20 mins and worth visiting. The street party is super do visit it . We booked a trip on a speed boat to sugar beach , waterfall, mud river and hotel chocolate. We booked this for $130 from Carlton at the far end of the beach well worth it. When at the hotel we got sun loungers with no problem and always noted that plenty were spare. We all got bit, not sure where but I used skin so soft every evening and only got bit in the day on the beach. If you have any doubt’s about booking I would go again in an instant. As we didn’t go AI I would suggest this is a great experience not like the larger hotels with the large buffets. With a waiter service and great food . Thank you for a fantastic stay!

What a lovely resort the Coco Palm is; the location is great for the beach (short walk) and some great eateries in the village. The staff cannot do enough to help. The rooms are immaculate and the pool area is great. We booked tours beforehand through Viator and a rum distillery tour with St Lucia Volcano Shuttle; but the hotel will be happy to organise for you when you arrive.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Coco Palm Resort in St Lucia, and although words hardly do justice to the experience, I will try to capture it here. We first discovered this wonderful boutique resort on YouTube, and it immediately caught our attention. As a family, we love travelling to different countries and immersing ourselves in local culture, often choosing boutique properties over large all-inclusive resorts so we can truly experience the destination. We were looking for accommodation that offered relaxation while still allowing us to explore St Lucia, and Coco Palm exceeded every expectation. This trip was especially meaningful as we were celebrating our father’s 70th birthday. From the moment we arrived, the team created an unforgettable welcome with live music, refreshing rum and fruit punches, and a beautifully decorated room for my parents complete with birthday balloons, a card and a bottle of wine. The warmth and care shown by the staff immediately made us feel at home. The rooms were incredibly spacious, spotless, and offered a stunning poolside view to wake up to each morning. Claudine (Senior Operations & Revenue Manager) kindly arranged a complimentary lunch for us, allowing us to experience the full dining offering despite booking on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Breakfast was truly the highlight, a fantastic buffet filled with fresh, flavourful options showcasing delicious Creole cuisine. Coco Palm delivers everything you would expect from a larger resort but with the charm, intimacy, and comfort of a boutique property. The calm atmosphere, distinctive architecture, and weekend live music added a special touch that made our stay even more memorable. What truly sets Coco Palm apart is its people. Every member of staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like family. By the end of our stay, we felt we had gained a home away from home in St Lucia. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Reduit Beach and close to Rodney Bay Marina, making it ideal for both relaxation and island exploration. Coco Palm is perfect for travellers seeking the best of both worlds: a peaceful place to unwind alongside easy access to experience the beauty and culture of St Lucia. To our Coco Palm family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this milestone celebration a trip of a lifetime. We cannot wait to return. It's been a week since returning from Saint Lucia. Our stay at Coco Palm exceeded our expectations. A good friend who is from the island, recommended this hotel, so we cancelled a previous reservation, and booked Coco Palm instead. This was the BEST decision we made! Claudine is the heart of Coco Palm and she insured that all of our needs were met, and truly made us feel at home. We needed extra towels...they were delivered to our door within minutes. Our ceiling fan was making a clicking sound..this was repaired promptly. The food at Ti Banane restaurant was absolutely top notch, and better than any All Inclusive resort we have ever stayed at! The wait staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Our son has a list of life-threatening food allergies, and the wait staff took this very seriously, and ensured that the food was prepared carefully to keep him safe. A very special mention goes to Jan, she is a true gem and Coco Palm is very lucky to have her. She took such great care of us and always ensured my son had meals that were prepared according to his allergy restrictions. I would also like to mention Denise, she is a trainee at the restaurant, and has a heart of gold. She has a calm, caring nature, and really made us feel welcome. A shout out to our bartender Genil. He made the best drinks, was fast, and always had a smile on his face! Overall, I would without hesitation, recommend this resort if you like a smaller, boutique style layout that feels like home. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are bright and very clean, (special mention to Francisca who made sure our room was clean and pristine each day), and the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay! We are planning on returning in December..see you soon, Claudine!

Location is perfect and convenient to beach , the shops, restaurants , shopping Malls etc.. had a very pleasant atmosphere around . My room I had was on ground floor very large & very clean very happy with it and would definitely request the same room on my next visit . As this was my first solo vacation to St Lucia I must say I felt very safe in and around the hotel . Only 1 negative part maybe try and send confirmation of taxi pick from arrival at airport at least 1/2 weeks in advance, as it helps put people’s mind at ease knowing well in advance.

Just left coco palm and felt the need to review because this place is fantastic. Small tiny improvements can be made but nothing that will take away from booking here again. Traveled with my husband and 3 year old daughter, I must say, this place was perfect for us. The shallow ledge in the pool and loungers made the pool great for kids. The restaurant staff need a round of applause. JUST the best. Again one or two won't smile but they do work hard and that doesn't take away from giving them 5 stars. FOOD was amazing !!! ( OH YES WE DID ALL INCLUSIVE AND ITS WELL WORTH IT ) ROOMS - can use upgrading but very clean. STAFF- amazing !! GROUNDS- clean and well maintained. LOCATION- stellar! By tons of restaurants and only 4 min walk from beach, park and a rum shack on beach!!! I would for sure book here again! THANKS !!!!
