"Great for smokers😝"

6.0

We just returned from an 10 day stay at this hotel. The positives are the food was good although usually cold by the time we got it. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, well maintained and plenty of greenery. Plenty of things to do for kids although we were just a couple. The entertainment was very good most of the time. The down side for us was there was no indoor lounges where you could relax on comfy sofas. I was very surprised to find there was smoking at all bars which for a non smoker was absolutely awful. The restaurant was like a canteen it was far too busy and noisy. The staff were clearing plates into a large mobile bin right beside the tables, very off putting. We didn’t really find the staff friendly apart from one of the ladies who was always keen to help in the canteen. The decor in the room was nice although it needs some TLC, the beds were uncomfortable with a hard mattress and the bedding consisted of a thin blanket which reminded me of a hospital blanket. Sorry to be so negative but I don’t think the hotel is of a 5 star rating in any way.

"October visit"

8.0

Stayed for 8 nights in Club Tuana in October, family of 4 including 2 adults and 2 kids age 13 and 15. We were in Parkside in a 2 bedroom family room. Ground floor large balcony. Room was fine was clean and plenty wardrobe/drawer space for clothes. The walls were absolutely paper thin, could hear the neighbour snoring and getting told off from his wife for farting 😂😂. It was around a 7 minute walk to the main pool and restaurant. We had our own pool at Parkside with snack bar. The room was fine for us yes they are a bit dated but it was spotlessly clean. Cleaners cupboard was next to our front door and every morning they would congregate there for a mothers meeting as I called it and sit on our doorsteps, usually we were up and awake by then but a couple of times they did wake up with the chatting. The grounds round the hotel were spotless. Plenty sunbeds no sunbed wars when we stayed although most days we stayed over at Parkside and was quieter and more chilled. We found food and drink fine, plenty choice of food although I just wish it was a bit hotter as most of the time we found the food to be lukewarm sometimes cold. Mosquitos are a problem , we got bitten both inside and outside, mostly outside but a few times in the room too. Despite us using plug ins, sprays, creams etc. Hired a pavilion at the beach one day it was nice, you got served twice with drinks once in morning then once in afternoon they came with champagne, fruits, cakes etc all other food and drinks you had to go get yourself. Used the Tuana app on phone when there, told you what was happening and when, you could also contact guest relations and housekeeping etc , on arrival I asked on app for extra pillows and they were delivered to my room within 10 minutes. Then I also asked for the room to be sprayed as was suffering with mosquito bites, again within 10-15 mins they arrived at door with plug ins and sprays for us to use. Shop on site is very expensive, we bought 2 roll on deodorant to, shaving foam and a bag of crisps and got charged £21 😳 Wish I had know about the wee shop beside the hotel before I bought them in the hotel shop. There is a little shop down the road in between the security guard main gate and Parkside much cheaper in there. All in all we had a lovely time at Tuana and would possibly return if we got a good deal

"Shocking"

4.0

We just come back and i wouldnt not reccomend so many slippy surfaces everywhere i thought could be more staff moping around poolside and cleaning there was litter everywhere disgusting. Floor was very slippy whrn rained it rained threw and no one cleaned up was a death trap. My main concern is the black and white disco when we went under age children being served alchol they was ages 14 15 16 17 staff no checking for ID i discussed with the manager who looked only young himself he rolled his eyes and blamed bar man there was drama each night we went and found men creepy and one pestered stalked that evening my daughter they did nothing about it poor safeguarding and heard he had done same previous night to another lady. Also the toilets there was shared ladies cubicle didnt lock very unsafe toilets smelt unclean dirty the floor was wet slippy. Restaurant was crowded people pushing in poor choices for veggies as well. Didnt find the evenings kids club was repeative daily didnt understand the host spoke too fast and mostly in turkish enternainment was poor and mostly dances with same people which we found boring. Dont think its a very safe or secure place no wrist bands which i found strange i think saftey isnt considered there .

"Great food but that’s where it stops"

6.0

Best food ever in an all inclusive hotel. Our first 5 days were great, plenty of space around the pool and no need to get up at the crack of dawn for a sunlounger, unfortunately our last 5 days overlapped with mid term holidays, rowdy parents and kids singing football chants, lots of pushing in the pool, piles of food left in the restaurant and running around the restaurant like it was a race track. It’s a family hotel so you expect the kids to enjoy themselves but not to the detriment of everyone else. It’s a pity the hotel management didn’t show face at anytime during our 10 days to witness what was happening.

"do not recommend"

4.0

Everything was fine until my glasses were stolen — expensive, branded ones. Because of this, despite some positives, I cannot recommend this hotel. It’s simply not safe. Here’s what happened. One day, I suddenly couldn’t find my glasses before going for a walk. They were nowhere to be found — I searched the entire room, even lifted the bed. I tried to recall my steps: around noon, I met with my tour guide, and the glasses were definitely on me. After that, I went to the bar and then returned to the room. My wife and I soon left again to exchange money at the reception, as we were planning to walk to the A101 store outside the hotel. When we came back to grab our things and change clothes, the room had already been cleaned. Before leaving, I just remembered about the glasses, tried to find them and realized that they were missing. I went for the walk without them. When we returned from store, I went straight to the reception and reported the loss. I asked if they could check the security cameras to trace what had happened. They assured me they’d do their best and sent me to Guest Relations. I suggested checking the camera footage to trace my route — maybe I dropped them somewhere or left them unattended. They told me it was impossible because there were “no cameras” in the area of our rooms — for “privacy reasons.” But what about safety? Our room was located outside the main hotel area. How can the absence of cameras be considered secure? I then asked them to check my route on the main territory, but they said that was also impossible. They could only review footage from specific places and times — if I provided them exactly. Note that this hotel promotes its “innovative facial recognition system” instead of wristbands, yet they can’t even track guest movement on camera? Seriously? These two facts just don’t add up. Anyway, I gave them the exact time I visited the bar so they could confirm I was wearing my glasses then. My theory was simple: if I still had them in the bar, they must have been stolen from the room; if I didn’t, I might have left them there. The footage showed me leaving the bar wearing the glasses. That means I returned to my room with them and didn’t stop anywhere along the way. So the last known location of the glasses was clearly our room. I can only conclude that they were stolen during cleaning. What disappointed me most was the staff’s reaction — they were cold and indifferent, as if this happens all the time. They didn’t seem to care at all. It felt like they were just covering for each other. If their “innovative” camera system really existed, they could’ve easily checked the footage from the bar to the room. Even if the cameras showed that I accidentally dropped the glasses outside, I would’ve accepted my mistake and apologized. But the only logical explanation left is theft. It’s sad to see that the hotel’s management doesn’t care about its reputation. When I told my guide about it, he reacted calmly — almost too calmly — and even gave me step-by-step advice on how to call the carabinieri. He said that usually makes the staff take things more seriously. So apparently, this isn’t the first time it’s happened. Staying at this hotel feels unsafe. The staff’s attitude toward guests is terrible — you’re just a number with a wallet to them. The rooms are old, the furniture is shabby. The air conditioner is very loud, it is impossible to fall asleep. Sure, the hotel has its pros. But after what happened, none of them matter. There are plenty of better options in Turkey. I do not recommend this hotel

"Fantastic Family Holiday"

10.0

We had a fantastic family holiday – it really had everything we needed. The planned activities throughout the day kept the kids busy and made things easy for us. Highlights The entertainment team were great and really personal with the family. A special shout-out to Ahmet, who greeted my three boys every morning and made them feel so welcome. He even gave us fun nicknames – calling me Frank Lampard and my son Cole Palmer – which was a nice touch that made the boys smile every day. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard, and Saliha deserves a special mention. She couldn’t do enough for us and is a real credit to the hotel. Food The food was a bit hit and miss. Some days it was absolutely fantastic, while other days you had to piece a meal together. There’s a lot of choice, it’s just about finding the right combinations. Tip: Go for the evening meal around 6:45 pm to avoid the big rush after 7:15 pm when it gets very busy. Other Tips Bring mosquito spray – it’s definitely needed. Overall, it was an amazing family holiday and we’d definitely go back. The only thing I’d change would be the pool music – the same playlist on repeat for 10 days got a bit much. I’m sure the staff would appreciate a bit of variety too!

Friendly staff; gorgeous grounds. Only criticism is the unnecessary piped music everywhere and 'nature' sounds at night.

"Very disappointing. Won't be returning or recommending"

4.0

So.. I'll start with the positives. The complex was well maintained and clean overall... That was quick.!!.This is OUR own personal experience. So we have to say we will not be returning. We booked 2 weeks in the Lagoon area in a 1st floor room (swim up rooms below and 1 floor above.) to have a nice break away to celebrate our joint 60th birthdays. So for a start the 'cleaners' didn't.!. all our cleaner did was make the bed. The surface around the bathroom sink was probably wiped no more than 3 times in the 2 weeks. The surface area around the kettle was not wiped and has the same 'cup ring' mark and sugar spillage for the whole 2 weeks. So that was very disappointing. The walls and floors may as well have been made from paper. We were woken up EVERY morning by noisy kids above us running about and scraping chairs for the whole 2 weeks. Next door's kids TV could be heard each morning along with toilets being used/flushed.!!. Quite unpleasant.!. Along with everyone being incapable of closing their room doors quietly and just letting them slam shut, the overall noise was awful. We gave up being considerate after a few days and decided to join the selfish door bangers club and just let ours slam too. Quite satisfying it was too. LOL.. All of the available Lagoon Area sun beds were grabbed by the people using the swim-up rooms by them getting their towels down very early if not the night before which was quite selfish so we were forced to use the pool area where again fighting for sunbeds was a daily thing as towels were down VERY early. The food hall (canteen as we called it.) was a no-go area before 8 o'clock as there would be no where to sit and the volume of shouting kids was hard to bear. The food was always 'warm' at best. The main bar area where lunchtime food was available was ok if you could hear yourself think over the racket made by everyone scraping their chairs when sitting down to eat and getting up again. The rentable huts on the pier were a god-send as it got us some much needed peace and quiet. The Spa was very nice too.....So these are just some of the niggles that we weren't expecting and what made our stay here very disappointing. We won't be returning or recommending the place either. However if you have kids then it's a great place. For us, it spoiled what we were hoping for as a 60th birthday holiday in the sun.
