"Guest relations need to do better"

2.0

Currently staying here now at club Tuana.. Firstly this is a beautiful hotel, so much so this is our 7th time returning here. Unfortunately this time our holiday has been ruined by inappropriate behaviour from other guests. The hotel doesn't seem to have a zero policy in place to make guests especially younger guests feel safe. Our two 17 y/o daughters were approached by another very drunk guest who was bothering them and making them feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. Guest relations only removed him after we demanded he was removed from pool area. They also still til this day have not even come to us and checked that our girls are OK or even apologised that this has happened to them. Their response is that he did not touch them so this is OK! They have offered as a goodwill gesture a voucher for one of the onsite restaurants which is poor really considering you get 1 free visit per restaurant included in package and we haven't visited any whilst here anyway! Overall beautiful hotel, entertainment staff can't do enough for everyone, housekeeping amazing, servers in bars/main restaurant can't do enough..management and guest relations poor!! Will we return?..probably not which is a big shame...

"Great for kids, BUT ..not ultra all inclusive and illness spoilt the holiday"

6.0

Having spent many a happy holiday in Turkey I can say that Club Tuana is a good hotel. Firstly, the Kids Club and entertainment is superb, my children (aged 8 and 6) loved it. There are endless activities on offer for children and the entertainment/kids club staff are great. Vova is a wonderful asset to the team and is great with the older ones. The evening shows were very enjoyable and entertaining. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well kept, although the excessive watering did make for muddy/swampy areas no doubt attracting yet more mosquitoes. The jetty with Cabanas/sun loungers and diving board is one of the hotel’s best assets- it’s just a beautiful place to be. The hotel is advertised as ‘Ultra all-inclusive’ - this simply is not the case. Fresh fruit juice is available at breakfast, but at an extra cost. Smoothies/branded alcohol and cocktails/bottled beer/cider is available, but at an extra cost. Proper milkshakes are available, but at an extra cost. The mini bar is stocked with a small amount of beer and sparkling water upon arrival, refilling is available, but at an extra cost. These are all things that have been freely provided at other ‘Ultra all-inclusive’ hotels that I have stayed at. Given how much it costs to stay at this hotel I feel like these added extras are greedy. Sun loungers- be prepared to get up before sunrise if you want any chance of securing a sun lounger. Rumour has it you can tip certain members of staff who will save sunbeds on your behalf- this I definitely saw evidence of. The pool is lovely but, in peak season obviously is very busy. There is a quieter pool on the ‘park side’ but I unfortunately did not visit so can’t Incan’t comment. The rooms have been updated but are very small for a family of 4, there’s no room to unwind and no space. The 4th bed is squeezed in and all are hard as rock. Do not expect a good nights sleep here. The staff work endless at the hotel but it is still not that clean which makes me think perhaps they need more staff? The room was ‘cleaned’ every day but the toilet and sink were never cleaned, under the beds was grim and the floor was always dirty. The balcony might as well be non existent and ours was covered in animal faeces. FOOD! The main restaurant is like many other all inclusive hotels- manic, loud, dirty and similar to a canteen. There was always plenty of options and they have such a hard job to provide for all those people. What I would say to anyone with any kind of a food allergy is take snacks so you don’t go hungry. Although there are allergy advice boards next to each dish, I’m not convinced how accurate they were. I am coeliac and, having previously been told that they ‘don’t have allergies in Turkey’ I come prepared with my own bread and some snacks. I was very limited on things I could eat. I did not eat at the a la carte restaurants so cannot comment but they looked lovely. Unfortunately, I became very unwell 7 days into my holiday which has continued since my return home. I would be interested to know if anyone else staying at Club Tuana has suffered similar having stayed there in mid August. Whilst I do not know what it was that has made me so unwell, I know that is was picked up from this hotel. It is a great shame because, overall, my family had a nice holiday, but for this and other reasons outlined, we would not come back. The staff try so hard but there are lots of things that let it down.

"Could do better"

6.0

We have previously visited Lara Barut Collection, and taking into account the price difference between the 2 hotels we weren’t expecting the same levels of service at Club Tuana. I’ll start with the positives: The setting is lovely and the sunsets are beautiful. Lagoon rooms are nice, we had a swim up room. Our friends stayed in Park Side and were very disappointed with their room. There is plenty for kids to do. The cabanas are really nice for an added touch of luxury and it means you don’t have to get up really early to get sunbeds. The beach is lovely but very stony at the shore. Now to the negatives: The sunbed situation is awful. We ended up spending £200 on a cabana for the whole of our holiday as we didn’t want to get up really early to get beds. Every day all sunbeds were taken and I’d say half of them were not used all day every day. I never saw anyone from the hotel removing towels. We saw countless people walking round trying to get sunbeds. Our swim up room only got sun from 3pm for a few hours. Had we not been travelling with our friends I would have been very disappointed to not be able to sunbathe at our room. The pool was also very small for 6 rooms to use and soon would have become crowded. The main pool was so busy too. You can only get all inclusive cocktails at certain bars. Hubble bubbly man does nice cocktails but these are not included in the all inclusive. The buffet restaurant was awful. It was too crowded so each meal time we would have to walk round to try and find a table. When we would eventually find one it was normally dirty with no cutlery. No one would bring cutlery so you would have to go and get your own. You also have to go and get your own drinks, which is not 4 or 5 star service. The only way to describe the buffet restaurant is chaotic canteen. It was so noisy in there you couldn’t talk to anyone at your table. The food was quite tasty but very repetitive. The mosquitoes are relentless there too. We took all the necessary precautions but have all come away with some pretty nasty bites. We have had a nice holiday but felt that the buffet restaurant massively lets the hotel down and because of that we wouldn’t return which is a shame because the setting is really nice. We could definitely see what the extra money for Lara Barut gets you.

"Amazing Holiday!!"

10.0

Club Tuana is a beautiful hotel with amazing facilities and honestly I couldn’t fault a thing. We stayed in a Lagoon Zone Room which was worth every penny to upgrade, the rooms were lovely and the Lagoon pools were quiet and clean. The snack foods at Lagoon were delicious and the drinks were unreal… cocktails were amazing and they offered both virgin or alcoholic… which my kids loved. The evening entertainment at Club Tuana was so good! Every night we wanted to go party with the amazing Entertainment Team who put on the best shows! The girls especially loved Ahmet who performed in the Aura Dance Show and was also part of the day time entertainment around the hotel which included waterpolo, darts, shooting, football, the kids club and so much more!! The pool parties were amazing and the shows they put on were so entertaining!! All in all this was a fabulous holiday and I can’t wait to go back!

"Great pools and service, disappointing rooms"

8.0

Great pools and service, disappointing rooms. We booked an annex double room and, upon arrival, realised there is a significant difference between these rooms (called park rooms) and those inside the main club area. When you book a hotel room, you usually expect it to be similar to the more expensive options, apart from size and a few amenities. However, the difference here is far greater than expected. Our current room is relatively small and sparsely furnished. The third bed is very uncomfortable, and we’ve had issues with mosquitoes and even spiders. Although staff sprayed the room after the second day, the problem persists. There’s no sofa, no tissues, and while the room isn’t filthy, the bathroom and toilet fall short of what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. That said, there are many positives: the pools are excellent, the food is wonderful, the staff are friendly and helpful, and overall, we do enjoy our time whenever we step outside the room. WiFi also works well. My advice would be to book a lagoon room if possible—the difference is substantial and worth the extra cost. Unfortunately, none were available during our stay, so we remain in the annex room (we are still here for another three days).

"Grubby dirty rooms."

4.0

First day here, massively disappointed with the room, the fuse box is hanging off the wall, there’s a light fitting that’s clinging on for dear life, there’s a bare electrical cable on show in the bathroom above the mirror, and in general the room just feels very dark and grubby. It’s other than that we’ve had a good first day, the hotel grounds, pool, drinks etc we have no complaints with. The rooms are awful though, avoid 3104.

"Great family holiday"

10.0

Great for the family! We booked the lagoon and had a top-floor room with plenty of space. I went with my partner and his little girl, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The lagoon area is perfect if you want a quieter pool. We spent most of our days there. It has two sides with different seating areas, and the bar (open from 9 a.m.) serves coffee, cakes, sandwiches, and cocktails. Drinks are all branded (Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Captain Morgan’s, Gordon’s Gin, Baileys). The only local items I noticed were the milk and wines. The main pool was nice but too busy for me. There are also three slides/flumes open at set times, plus two kids’ pools, though we didn’t really use them since we were happy at the lagoon. Shops on-site stock essentials and some tasty local snacks. I used the gym, which was well-equipped, with fresh towels and water available. The beach is rocky, so bring water shoes. The pier has a diving board, which was a lot of fun. The main restaurant offers plenty of variety and is great for trying new dishes. Go early, though — one evening we arrived later and had a hard time finding a table. We also tried one of the à la carte restaurants (Italian-themed, set menu). If you have a picky eater, it might not be ideal, but we enjoyed it. The staff were wonderful — friendly, helpful, and great with kids. We used the kids’ club a couple of times, and she loved it so much she wanted to keep going back. We also visited the zoo area, which was okay. That’s where the ice cream stand is — the ice cream had a chewy texture, which was unusual, but the mango flavor was tasty. They also had chocolate and strawberry. At the main bar, drinks included Efes and a beer that tasted like Budweiser (possibly Belfast Beer?). They also stocked Havana 3, Omega Tequila, Johnnie Walker, and Jack Daniel’s. Sometimes the bartenders measured with a jigger, sometimes “with their heart,” which added to the charm. We went to a few of the shows — most were great! Only one wasn’t really to our taste, but that’s personal preference. Would I recommend it? Absolutely — especially if you’re looking for a family-friendly place with the option to relax and unwind.

"Advertised on Google as 5 star, but definitely not the case!"

6.0

Location and set up really good but food and drink average. Drinks are limited in range and the a la carte restaurants (bookable through an awful app) have the same set menu each night with no alternatives. Limited snacks through the day and smoothie bar / cocktail bar at added costs (so hardly anyone used them!). Reception and guest relations service was the most disappointing. Had 3 issues with the room (safe, leak, aircon) and took multiple visits to find answers and finally had to liaise with our holiday company before we finally got information from reception. "Computer says no" was the attitude and the final straw was offering us a pavilion as a solution to not being able to have a late check out and because of our recognised issues. Imagine our surprise when this was offered to us but we were still expected to pay the full price for it of 60 euros!! (Even though there were pavilions not being used that day) To say we were annoyed is an understatement and not the way we wanted to spend our final day there! Could be so much better with improved processes and staff :-(

"Wonderful Stay at Club Tuana — Could Not Recommend Enough!"

10.0

Me and my other half stayed at Club Tuana, Fethiye, for ten days through TUI, and the overall experience was nothing short of fantastic. Our deluxe double room upgrade was worth every penny—modern, spotless, and with great air conditioning for those warmer days. We were on the top floor, where the balcony was almost double the size of the regular ones, which was a lovely bonus. For anyone with mobility issues, I would recommend requesting a ground floor room as there are no lifts, but for us, the stairs were no problem. The freshwater pool was lovely—massive in size and it never once felt crowded, even on the busiest days. Plenty of space to swim, relax, and enjoy the sun without feeling packed in. The service at Club Tuana was exceptional. Check-in was quick, and when we had a minor issue with our safe, the hotel team helped to resolve it within 30 minutes. Staff insisted to carry our luggage upstairs when we arrived, and even arranged to collect it before our shuttle to the airport—seriously going above and beyond. A special mention goes to Mehmet and Berkan at the bar, who were absolute stars—always smiling, efficient, and attentive even during the busy evening rush. Needless to say, every staff member we encountered was friendly and polite, always making us feel welcome; we honestly couldn’t fault anyone. Food was brilliant. They have three additional à la carte restaurants (Olive Beach—local cuisine, Roma—Italian, and Ivriz—fish) as well as the buffet restaurant, which were all included in our stay—we just had to book at least one night prior in advance for à la carte, and were provided one of each à la carte per week. We used the Club Tuana app for this, which made it super easy. My partner is quite a picky eater, but every night he left the buffet with a full plate (or two!) thanks to the huge variety and themed evenings. Again, the Club Tuana app also allowed us to view the à la carte restaurant menus, as each à la carte is a set menu, so we knew exactly what was going to be served. In addition, the various bars within the resort had a wide variety of good quality drink choices, not watered down at all. The location is on its own—away from the city of Fethiye—but Club Tuana have their own taxi service, where it cost us around £5 to get into town one day. There is also a local minibus service that runs frequently just outside the complex, where the price was equivalent to approximately 80p, which is really affordable if looking for days out. But if you’re there to really relax and unwind, which is what we decided on, the beachfront location was perfect for us. The beach itself was lovely—pebbly near the water (which is nature and cannot be helped!) but where our sun loungers were, the sand was soft on feet. Going late April/beginning of May, there always seemed to be enough room on the beach, giving us the choice to move into the sun or stay under the shade of canopies when it got warmer. The entertainment at Club Tuana was also a world on its own! There were themed nights and something different happening every evening at the amphitheater. Even during busy evenings, it always seemed there was enough seating to accommodate everyone, and the atmosphere was lively without feeling overcrowded. I honestly could not recommend this place and enough, and truly want to thank every team member at Club Tuana for such a wonderful holiday we had!
