A very beautiful building in a beautiful park. Restaurant with a superb terrace and a beautiful view of the ocean. I recommend this hotel

Went for a weekend with our two kids. The heated outdoor pool was fantastic. They also have BBQs available so we took advantage while our kids swam in the pool. Watched the sunrise every morning from our balcony! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location right on the oceanfront in Campbell River- this place has a fair amount of history, being rebuilt after the original Lodge burnt down in the eighties. It's a nice place, quiet, clean, relaxed. Slightly tired and maybe in need of a slight update, but good service, comfortable rooms, pleasant grounds- with a pool. They also offer tours, which we didn't do, but could be fun. Whale watching, etc. A nice place to stay, slightly out of the way of downtown, so not exactly walkable.

Room was great, view if ocean. Very dog friendly, great pub on site with good food at a good price. Seevice was excellent all round.

I would not recommend this place. We stayed in Cabin 21. It had 3 bedrooms and we were 5 adult. It is supposed to be able to sleep up to 8 adults. Despite knowing we are booked for 5 adults, we were supplied with only 4 of everything. The kitchen was dirty and there were no dishtowels available for cleaning the counters or the dishes. The furniture in the living room were very odd. Old and dated. Dinning room chairs, with no dinning table. When we called front desk for additional towels, cutlery and dish towels, the could only supply towels, but not cutlery or dish towels. The one bedroom's door is partially blocked by a build-in countertop. Every time you open the door, it keeps on hitting the countertop. Compared to all the other places we stayed during this road trip, it was nearly double in price. But for what we got, we were thoroughly disappointed. On a positive note, the food at the restaurant was very good and location is good.

Beautiful, historical property! However, the beds were very uncomfortable and there was no a/c in our unit. Room was dated and has been let go. Would be great to see this return to its former glory! Restaurant food was sub par- fish tacos were not fresh fish- disappointing! The pool is beautiful and was well kept.

Needs an update. I think they are trying to get there but rooms need work.
