The Carroll Villa Hotel

Just did one of our yearly stays at the Carrol Villa. We always have a great relaxing time. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Perfect location in Cape May for any time of year. Near the beach, near the shopping and all the great places to eat. And the deals with the Mad Batter are wonderful. Highly recommend staying at the Carrol Villa.

This is our second stay at the Carroll Villa. We plan another stay, perhaps early next year. From the wait staff in the Mad Batter to the those maintaining our room and hotel management, everyone was friendly, courteous, and helpful. It was a perfect break before the holidays and winter set in. Thank you.

We love the Carroll Villa in Cape May. We go at least once a year and the staff the food the room everything is perfect!!!!!

We have been visiting and staying at the Carroll Villa Hotel for over 30 years. The time that we have spent there, or just eaten there, has been wonderful. The staff all have been friendly, courteous and engaging. We look forward to being blessed with many more years of visits to beautiful Cape May, the Carroll Villa Hotel, the Mad Batter and the Cricket Club.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful, clean and location was right in the heart of everything. We didn’t need our car, was able to walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The front desk was so wonderful, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Clear communication with anything we needed to know. We will definitely be back next year!

Everything about our stay was wonderful- from the comfort and cleanliness of our room to the delicious food and attentive service at the Mad Batter and the Cricket Club!

We had a wonderful “Halloween Weekend” stay at the Caroll Villa. The room was clean. The shower / bathroom were new and enormous. The staff, specifically Linda, was amazing and accommodating.

The location was very close to shops, restaurants and the ocean 1/2 block away. Staff was very helpful. The room decor was very nice and well maintained. We also had a delicious breakfast at the Mad Batter restaurant on the first floor. The pecan waffle was delicious.

Very warm and confortable, the room was ideal. The weather did not coorporate, but that did stop us from having a wonderful time in the BnB and the town as a whole. Our overall stay was great! We first stayed at the Carroll Villa for New Years weekend 1994 and then again in 1995. We came back to celebrate our 29th Wedding anniversary and hope to be back for our 30th, or before.

Carroll Villa Hotel is a lovely and unique property located in the best location in Cape May. It was our first visit to the area and staying at Carroll Villa made it even more special. The owners were so welcoming and patient with any inquiry we had. The hotel is located within a 5-minute walk from both the beach and the outdoor shopping district (Washington Street Mall) a pedestrian-only outdoor mall in the heart of town with nearly 100 stores. The shops and restaurants are all so unique. The rooms that my companion and I had were perfect-spotless with all the amenities you could need. Room 11 (on the 3rd floor) was especially inviting! We were also fortunate enough to have dined at The Mad Batter for both breakfast and dinner. A definite hotspot with a great vibe and delicious food to match! We were especially impressed with the service (Mahogany at dinner and Tom at breakfast)! Overall, Carroll Villa Hotel is a delightful, unique and beautiful property! I cannot recommend it enough! PS - If you are a bird-watcher (as we are), there are fabulous wildlife trails to explore too! Highly recommend Cape May State Park!
