The Carroll Villa Hotel

Carroll Villa Hotel is a wonderful and unique hotel in the very heart of Cape May NJ. The management stayed in touch with us prior to arrival to determine if we needed anything and were helpful and friendly during check-in. The hotel is a jewel and it was a great pleasure to stay there. Having a great restaurant and bar within the hotel was an added bonus. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed at the Carroll Villa Inn many times since the 80’s!!! We were there this month and it was still a wonderful experience. They offer so many complimentary extras for a B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well appointed and the bed was so comfy! The Mad Batter is a popular restaurant with delicious meals and the Blue Bar happy hour is so much fun. Live music is great too! And the location is unbeatable!! We had a fabulous stay as always. I highly recommend it!

What a beautiful room. So relaxing. The room was spotless. The hotel is quiet. Check in and out is a breeze. So close to the beach. The Mad Hatter restaurant is so inviting and the service and food were wonderful. I wil be back!

Can't say enough about how much my husband & I enjoy our annual visit to Cape May and stay at the Carroll Villa Hotel. It is a lovely, charming Inn. The rooms are unique with amenities of a fine hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful; many we recognize from year to year, which says a lot about how the staff is respected. The convenience of location is wonderful. The Mad Batter on the property, with its excellent food, and the beach barely two blocks away, just makes our choice a "no brainer". Within walking distance of many shops & dining options. Always happy to be here.

My husband and I have stayed at Carroll Villa the last 4 years. Everytime an excellent experience. Beautiful room. Friendly service. Appreciate that room rate includes beach passes, umbrella, chairs and towels.

The Caroll Villa is a wonderful hotel in Cape May. We stayed in Room 26. It was a very comfortable space with a king bed and a modern private bathroom. Amenities included a flat screen TV and mini fridge. It is within a 2 block walk straight to the beach. Beach badges, beach chairs and umbrella was included as part of the stay. We also took advantage of the discounted meals at The Mad Batter and The Cricket Club. The voucher for The Mad Batter covered the cost of breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great experience at Carroll Villas. It’s a busy place but they were highly organized and friendly. Both Linda and Joanna at the front desk were hospitable and drove us to and from the parking lot. Our room was comfortable and spotless. The walls are a little thin and you can hear the music from the Mad Batter by 8am and until 10pm but it didn’t bother us at all. The location, included daily breakfast worth $30 a day, parking, beach tags, beach chairs and umbrella made it an excellent deal saving us approx $100 a day. We will be staying again!

As always, we enjoyed our stay, the food, the atmosphere. Just slightly disappointed with the bartender not letting us know our drink was not happy hour price because of the "upgrade" in Vodka choice.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean. It would have been nice to have coffee available earlier in the morning.... or a Keurig where guests can help themselves. Or a coffee maker in the rooms. The rooms are expensive and we were disappointed that we had to go buy coffee (They didn't put it out until after 8:00 one of the days). I also recommend that you have just a small office/desk area in the shared guest room downstairs for people to be able to work from their computers. We had to work with the computers sitting on our lap. There were a few other guests with the same problem at the same time. Thanks.
