Mitsis Royal Mare

Just returned from the most wonderful week at the mitsis royal mare in Crete. On arrival we received a warm welcome with a cocktail and hot towel, then got a golf buggy down to our room no. 762 which was perfect right near the beach and over looking the Candia restaurant beautiful view. The room was spacious and clean hand soap, lotion,shampoo and conditioner provided all amazing quality. There are 5 Al a carte restaurants which I booked before we arrived on the mitsis app food is all top quality and 3 courses so we had 2lunches, 3 dinners and one breakfast included in the price on visit in each during your stay. Our favorite was the allegro Italian restaurant they do crepes and ice cream during the day too. Cocktails were all gorgeous, our favourite was the woo hoo and loved the poo,l beach bar and the minos bar all great service and lovely staff. We walked to the right of the hotel along the beach and found beautiful cliffs over looking the sea with views to Santorini, there is a little church there too. To the left of the beach if you walk about 25 mins you will come to heroniss with a few bars and gift shops. The hotel entertainment at night was good in the minos bar ,dancing, DJs live singers etc all very good. In summary everyone should visit it's a beautiful location accomodation, staff,food and drink so would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a relaxing stay with wonderful service. We will be back xxx

We are here at the moment, the hotel is beautiful and the staff are good but the food is terrible. Breakfast is cold because the food is tepid, the plates are cold and the buffet is poorly laid out so you have to wander from the start of the buffet for eggs and the end for bacon etc. Lunch and dinner are very similar pasta, pizza, chips and salad there meal food is usually a chicken stew or last night it was mousaka which I love, it was Luke warm, tasteless and made with courgettes not aubergines. I’ve never stayed anywhere where the food is so bad, I get the impression that the hotel is using up its larder as it closes in 2-3 weeks

Delphinia pool bar was fantastic service, Maria the bartender was so friendly and helpful, a brilliant asset to the hotel

Everything was just perfect! We managed to book all the a la cartes prior to our stay and have to say they were all amazing. The staff definitely add to the quality of the hotel and could not be more helpful. We stayed in a bungalow with garden view and yes it could do with an update but in now way spoiled our experience of the hotel. The grounds are all kept spotlessly clean as were the pool areas. We would definitely return!! Thank you Mitsis!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have had an absolutely fantastic stay. The à la carte restaurants have all been incredible with my favourite being the Mediterranean. The service throughout the hotel has been exceptional with everyone so eager to help and make our stay special. On the evening of my husband’s birthday we had a cake and a bottle of fizz delivered to our room which was such a thoughtful touch. A special mention to Maria at the pool bar who was always so lovely and looked after us perfectly around the pool. This is our second time staying at a Mitsis hotel and once again the group has shown why they are known for luxury and excellence. We will definitely be returning. 🌟

Lovely hotel, very chilled. Loved the staff at Delphinia bar- Maria and her team are amazing! They are very friendly and love the cocktails and mocktails for my girls. All of the staff look after you so well! Definitely want to return.

Great experience very pleasant and helpful staff great service particularly from Herson from the Minos bar. Always friendly and speedy. Highly recommended for a great evening.
