Britannia Daresbury Park Hotel & Spa Warrington

Bathroom a bit grotty. Breakfast not hot enough. Quite disappointing

Place is dropping to bits, is dirty and service was poor. £84 per night, having a laugh. Never again and it showed 4 stars.

Great stay, comfortable and above all warm and welcoming staff. Quiet hotel, very nice! Staying again next week!!

Was pleasantly greeted by reception but the bar and restaurant was a bit of a shambles due to wait time and due to the bus groups rhere was only a carvery available rather than the menu we were provided with whilst waiting for the restaurant to open. Food sounded great and was disapointed when we received this- especially because of how much is cost too. Room left a lot to be desired with the bathroom not overly clean, only 1 towel (despite 2 of us staying), and decor was dated with numerous stains to the carpets. Was very basic but for 1 night was tolerable

Value for money Hotel Very dated, A little tatty. So much potential. breakfast disappointing (cold eggs bacon beans etc)

Rooms need an overhaul .. bathroom tiling was awful ..bed very comfortable

The room was gossly overpriced, and was in apawling condition. Had to have a shower as soon as I got home. The rooms were filthy! They need a serious refurbishment. All four of our party were absolutely disgusted with the conditions we had to endure for the weekend. Badly worn furniture, brown stains on the white bedding, shower that spayed all over the bathroom, thick dust all over the entire room, sideboards not hoovered properly in year, main table in the room hanging together with builders cork, three remotes which two of were not even for anything in the room, scorch marks on ceiling from lamps, unprotected pipes under the window, a disgusting fan that has never been cleaned in years blowing grime all through the room whenever its turned on (and bear in mind there was a heatwave that weekend), deep cracks and chips in the walls, a sink that bubbled dirty brown muck up from the plughole, a pair of worn black womens french knickers in the trouser press, and a condom quite plainly visible sitting next to the TV (I will assume this wasnt a greeting gift from the hotel). Breakfast was ok, staff were friendly. Parking was good too. However at over £125 per night I expect the room to still be clean and well kept. I wouldnt even expect those sorts of conditions at a travel lodge or even a B&B. Will not be making a return visit!

Travelled all the way from Ireland to be informed our room was cancelled by the hotel without any notice. Had to wait around in the hotel for 4 hours until we could organise another hotel. Baring in mind it was a bank holiday weekend and creamfields was on we were very lucky to organise another room in another hotel. The staff on reception didn't really care and weren't very helpful. Although Dave the manger was very nice. Will never be returning to this hotel and nobody should stay here. AVOID!!!

Check took 35 minutes. Reception area was dirty and gave the impression of a hotel in trouble. Room - bed comfortable but room not cleaned thoroughly. Dust on lampshades for example. Restaurant service - staff looked like they don’t want to be there. Again had to wait to be seated cos staff were elsewhere. At end of meal waited ten minutes to pay bill with no staff present.
