Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso

Wow where do I start! What a fantastic hotel. Previously stayed at the Baobab hotel 8 years ago and decided to try Villa Del Conde a try this time. It is an enormous hotel on many levels, many guest but never seems over crowded. It is laid out like a village, it really is beautiful It took us a few days to get our bearings. The hotel seemed to attract an older clientele, I didnt see many children about. We spent most of our time near the quiet pool, a heated pool. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger. There are many pools but the quiet one is our favourite. I sent an email prior go our stay with our room request. We go what we asked for, a well equipped large room also in a quiet area. Room 6116, high floor with a garden and sea view. Gets the afternoon and evening sun. Nice big bathroom with a good hairdryer and powerful shower. Large walk in wardrobe with ample space. Very comfy bed. Good seating area as well. The choice of food at breakfast and in the evening has been outstanding. We always managed to sit outside overlooking the plaza as well. We were spoilt for choice. We did say we may eat out a few times but we ate all our meals in the buffet restaurant because the food was so good! We watched some of the evening entertainment in the Plaza. One night there were three tenors performing and they were amazing. We were very impressed! I used the hotel gym on a number of occasions. It's a large gym and even though it got busy there was also room in there and equipment available. There is a back gate that leads directly on to the main promenade. A short 10/15 min walk takes you to the main shopping / restaurant area. Very upmarket shops and a well equipped supermarket. There is also a Starbucks which we enjoyed a visit to on our morning stroll. I ran along the sea front in the mornings towards Maspalomas and the nature reserve. We requested a late checkout the day before we were due to leave as checkout is normally 12pm. We paid 45 euros to keep our room until 6pm which will allow us make the most of our last day. We didn't arrive until late so essentially missed the first day. I am writing this still sitting by the pool whilst also contemplating when my next visit will be. We have had a lovely relaxing time and hope to return one day.

Situation géographique ideale. Hôtel tout comfort, restaurants, bars, discothèque. Evennement, concerts, spectables tous les soirs sur place extérueure. Nombreux bassin pour se baigner. Thalasso avec vue sur mer. Magnifique.

No drawers in lounge/bedroom.

The hotel is very clean , It is a little outdated in places especially in room with usb old ports for mobiles. Sadly no waiter service now by pools. We are b/b and have breakfast in the pool open air restaurant which is nice. Plenty of sun beds and quiet pool our favourite so far. Not much atmosphere at night compared to Meloneras but we like it quiet. Not really a 5 star compared to others , but for money paid we are more than satisfied.

Pulizia della camera insufficiente. Scarafaggi nella camera Staff non parla bene inglese Buffet della cena ripetitivo e con piatti a volte non buoni.

Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet waren sehr gut mit großer Auswahl. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt, die Zimmer sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Das ganze Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, man kann jedes Gespräch der umliegenden Nachbarn mithören. Jeden morgen wurde ich vor Sonnenaufgang von den Nachbarn geweckt, weil sie die Balkonmöbel quietschend über die Fliesen verschoben haben. Das Doppelbett hat nur eine Decke, man zieht sich im Schlaf gegenseitig die Decke weg. Die Matratze ist zwar bequem, aber beim herumdrehen laut und man wacht auf. Morgens als wir zum Frühstück gingen waren die meisten Sonnenliegen bei unserem Pool schon mit Handtüchern reserviert (oft kamen die Gäste den ganzen Tag über nie zum Pool oder nur für 1-2 Stunden) das ist eine absolute unart und das Hotel sollte das verbieten. Der Aushang was es fürs Abendessen gibt stimmte nie zb Meeresfrüchtebuffet oder Kanarisches Buffet - es gab keine Muscheln oder Titenfisch, vlt pannierte Garnelen und zwei Arten Fisch, der Rest der Speisen (95%) hatte nichts mit dem Thema zu tun. Viele Speisen beim Buffet waren nicht beschriftet oder die Beschriftung falsch platziert.

Breakfast was fine I can’t really complain but definite room for improvement with keeping warm items hotter like eggs bacon etc. a bit more variety too recommended.
