"Pretty old hotel. Kind and helpful staff."

The old hotel was lovely.

The bathroom floor appeared to be marble. It was very pretty but extremely slick when wet. The bed was not very comfortable.

"A nice hotel for a short stay"

A very nicely preserved hotel. The decor reflected the age of the hotel - in a good way!

The room with double bed was noisy so we changed to a twin room. It was fine There was a shortage of staff and one night the restaurant had to close.

"Good for Elvas centre"

Breakfast was good.

Seemed to be very short staffed. The receptionist was also the bar lady! The bed was firm and worn in places for my liking.
