Landmark Resort

This is the third year that I’ve stayed at landmark and I had the nicest room this time I’ve ever had. I hope to get it when I come next year. It had cooking utensils and pans and dish soap had everything that you needed. The only complaint that I have is that the coffee maker had an old package of coffee in it that was molding but they brought us a coffee pot and new coffee maker right away we didn’t have any hot water for a while, but they had some water issues and they explained all that to us. We did have hot water before we left and we had it intermittent intermittently when we were there. Everything was wonderful as always.

Amazing place to stay in Myrtle Beach. Was so impressed when I received a phone call, after checking in, to see if everything was okay with the room we reserved. Will definitely be back here to stay. Thank you, Landmark Resort

The Landmark for the most part is very nice. Very “DATED”! Needs a good over haul. Especially the rooms. Security would also be a great place to start! They have someone sitting at a security desk when you come in the building but that’s about it. There are key card scanners to be able to get into the building from the pool, (but you can pull it and it opens) and from the parking deck. Why not have one when entering the building especially at night. The security guard could let in people trying to check into their rooms after a certain time of night. Other guests that already stay there can use their key. This Might would stop the drug users from walking in the front lobby past 3 security guards down the hall to the guest rooms stealing BIG things from their room doors. Walking past the same 3 security guards in less than 2 mins and never being stopped and asked if they even stayed at this hotel. Just a suggestion!!

Dirty

The resort was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked 2 rooms and one of the rooms was outdated with old carpet and there was an air purifier placed in the room. The other room was updated with hardwood floor and was very nice.

Clean area

The staff was great from front desk to maintenance guys. Just not the area I would travel to had I’d known. Homelessness is an epidemic everywhere but this area was a friendly reminder.

Overall, it was ok. The shower was not ideal as the showerhead would not move and the water pressure was not present. The bed was not comfortable...at all. Shoulders, neck and back are stiff. However, the waterpark, the pools, hot tubs and other amenities were amazing
