Petra Wassaif Camp

The accommodation is located between rocks, from where you can see the sunset. Wonderful! The tent is clean and comfortable, providing everything you need. The tent has a bathroom, which has a toilet and a shower. It should be mentioned that hot water and electricity are offered from 07:00 PM until 09:00 AM. The staff was very kind and helpful. Even though I didn't go there for food, it is worth mentioning that breakfast and dinner were not very varied.

Sam was a great help, making sure we had everything we needed! Dinner and breakfast package were very nice.

Very long dirt road (1.5 KM). Due to heavy rainfall the road was blocked and we couldnt leave. Tent was also flooded because of the same rainfall.

Staff was super friendly, Li and the rest of the guys were super helpful and nice to chat with. Nice breakfast and good location to head towards Petra from.

First row rents were a bit noisy at night when it got windy.

The staff, specifically Sam, was very helpful and accommodating and the tents were a good size for a couple to stay in. Additionally, they had good shisha and the congregation area was nice and allowed for us to meet and greet other travelers to the area. The scenery and quiet nature of the camp site was peaceful and relaxing, allowing for a true get away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. Also, the staff accommodated for more personal excursions, including a desert Jeep ride in the Wadi Adaba, which was an experience in itself.

We were not notified prior that the property only has power from 7p-9a and the plumbing did not accommodate paper being flushed down the pipes, which is uncommon for Western travelers. Also, seemed like the meals were limited, which would be more pronounced if you stay more than a couple of days. Lastly, the remote location and rocky road was commented on by several drivers, so be aware of that when making accommodations.

We liked the experince of sleeping in a tent. We saw a beautiful sunset, we stayed by the fire and had tea. We also had an ok dinner there. It was nice! The staff is attentive and polite....we were there for 2 nights, by the end of april, and it was realy windy so don t forget to pack a windproof jacket.

The road, getting there, is a bit harsh but it was worth it in my opinion.

- the camp is clearly further away from Wadi Musa, but you get there via a long dirt track which you need a local driver to take you on, especially at night - food was simple but plentiful (dinner was extra charge)

Very friendly staff, good ambient, our tent had air conditioning and a bathroom with a warm shower.

The road to the camp is bumpy, but manageable, breakfast selection is okay.

The camp is nice and cozy, in a spot 15 minutes driving from Petra. It’s a very peaceful site where you can really enjoy staying far from the buzz. The staff is amazing, specially Sam, who provides anything you need with a smile on his face. Food was very good. the toilets need a bit of improvement.

There’s no hot water in the shower all the time.
