Silverbow Inn

Property is old fashion hotel with no storage space for clothes other than hooks. Breakfast is self-service but was not explain to us but we learned from other guests. Checkout time of 11:00 is inconvenient for those boarding ships at 12:30

The location was wonderful!

For the price, the room was fairly sparce. Breakfast was adequate but you make a lot of it yourself. No elevator and narrow, steep steps to the room. Window looked out at the concrete wall of the next building - about 3 feet away.

The people working were thoughtful and friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the decorating and homey touches.

We had a good stay at the Silverbow Inn. The location is excellent - it's at the centre of downtown. There were a lot of thoughtful touches in the hotel. The hot tub with a view is a treat. The room was clean and had all the typical amenities one would need. I particularly appreciated that the breakfast had healthy options, unlike typical hotel breakfasts which are greasy and processed. Breakfast is somewhat self-serve, and in a tiny communal kitchen, where a couple of people can prepare or serve themselves at a time. The hotel uses that small space thoughtfully, though I'd have preferred if the "kitchen" and shared refrigerator, microwave was larger. Most of the hotel staff was friendly. We enjoyed the board games and freshly baked cookies too. Walls were thin, and outside noise would cause disturbance at night. Beds were somewhat uncomfortable - they sank like a hammock.

A descent motel to stay, at a poin where we could move around very easily. A minuspoint from the lack of an elevator. There is nothing extravagant in it, but neither is the price to stay.

Walking distance to everything. Very clean and comfy. Robes for the hot tub. Great food for breakfast and homemade snacks always available. Very friendly place.

Juneau is very expensive.

Location was great.

No blackout curtains. Sporadic internet connection in room. No room safe. No elevator. Mediocre breakfast. No room phone. Noisy window AC unit. Sporadic door lock to room. No top sheet. Noisy overhead tenant at 5:00 a.m.

This “boutique” is a no go. I highly recommend you book elsewhere. My 80 year old parents had a fabulous trip planned that had to be cancelled 5 days ahead of time since my mom got sick. They called the hotel and they offered no recourse. No refund, no credit, no graciousness, no nothing. My dad asked that if they booked the room would they please refund part of their stay and they replied No! Every other provider in the area were so helpful and understanding. Their trip is already re-booked and they won’t be staying here. Nor will my family when we travel summer 2026. Please stay elsewhere and support other business.

Check in was easy. Staff was great. It felt very home like. The homemade scones were very tasty. The hot tub was very clean and my husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. If we go back to Juneau for any reason we will be booking a stay again at the Silverbow Inn.
