"Very Good"

7.0

Cheap rates. Great pool facilities. Good taxi service.

Communal toilets were not clean, bar system is odd. Only allowing 1 cup per person caused enormous delays in queuing. Food was basic and some was not cooked through properly.

"Absolutely hell."

2.0

Where do I start. Hotel has gone down...way down. I think partly is the guests. Scruffs everywhere. Leaving plates on sun beds. Cups. Everything else all over the place. Smoking weed on the resort near kids. Getting absolutely steaming. Probably the parents of the kids that would bang on the window and kick the door late at night, because they haven't a clue where the kids are and what they are doing, as they are stoned or drunk! Food absolutely disgusting. Many times it was raw. Bacon bloody and sausages in morning raw in the middle! Everything was COLD! kids going round picking food up with hands 🤢 Sickness bug..there was one going round. Hotel said there was no reports of a sickness bug as had to pay onsite doctor €150 to be seen and clarify this 🤣 all a money maker! Plenty people have came forward saying about being sick! Rooms...1st 3 days we had someone's uring..poo then sick all coming into our shower. Nothing was properly cleaned? They mopped the floor either a dirty mop and it was just spreading dirt around. I had to use a towel to go over the floor. No wonder we all got poorly! Eventually after 1 week we changed room! Couldn't wait to get away from the place. We ate out most of the time. And spent time in the room away from all germs 🤢 Been to this hotel many many times..would I be back? Would i hell absolutely rotten. Was like a bush tucker trial going into the restraunts!

"I read the negative reviews before I came and I can say we had a great holiday!"

8.0

Today is our last full day here, I read so many negative reviews so I would like to tell my side. We have had the best time here, so much for the kids to enjoy. The rooms - We got put in a newly refurbished one bed room and it was so nice and clean, lots of space. Two of us stayed in the living room on the pull out bed and two in the bedroom, the bedroom beds are more comfortable but I still slept good in both. The room was cleaned everyday, beds made and fresh towels. The food - There is a mix of food depending on what restaurant you go to, there is the main one, a pizzeria and a BBQ restaurant. I really enjoyed the BBQ restaurant as it had fresh meat cooked on the grills Infront of you and they had mexican food which is my favourite! The snack bars had burgers, nuggets, hotdogs and chips. People said the food was undercooked but I never came across anything undercooked, the kitchen staff worked their backsides off in the heat to make sure everything was topped up and fresh and I really appreciated their hard work. The pools - There are several pool areas, my kids loved the main pool and the kids one right next to eachother so we stayed there most of the time. There is a toddler pool which is warmer. The pools felt cold when you first get in but then it's gorgeous, believe me you will appreciate that little cold sensation in this heat. We walked round to the splash park where they had a bouncy pillow, a plain pool, a fountain area, a kids activity pool and the big slides. We managed to try them all, the life guards are spot on as well. They are on the ball to stop people messing about for safety reasons but they are great with the kids, they had water fights with my kids and they always laughed and played with everyone. The entertainment - Now I am giving a big shout out to the entertainment team, they have been brilliant on this holiday. During the day they set up activities for adults and kids and they are so friendly and happy with all the guests. The evening was great they had the mini disco, bingo with big prizes last night it was nearly 700 euros! Then they have different shows. My favourite was the Micheal Jackson show, they pulled out all the stops with every show they put on. You can see them practicing during the day to make sure they get it right. The staff - All the staff in this hotel who I have came across have been brilliant, the bar staff are working continuously to make sure your not waiting too long, I've been to other hotels where queues are worse then here. The reception are always friendly and helpful whenever I have visited them. The cleaners are lovely and work so hard, I feel sorry for them in the mornings they way the site can be left by some guests the night before but they don't complain they just crack on. There is a free bus service to the beach, now the driver is just a lovely funny guy. He must love his job, he kept us entertained on the bus and he won't leave anyone behind. Finally the guests - The only negative I can give and this is no way reflected on the hotel because they can't help who comes here. Some people complained of ants in their rooms, well I'm not surprised why!! I get up at 6am because I love a peaceful cup of tea before the madness starts and I am disgusted at how some guests leave the areas the night before. Food, split drinks, left over ice creams all over the floor outside rooms and you wonder why you have ants! The lovely seating areas left in disgust and the cleaners are running around like headless chickens first thing so no guests see it, I would love to see some of these people's houses! Would it also hurt you to show some appreciation to the staff, absolute rudeness out of some people baffled me. One restaurant ran out of grilled chicken and the guest was so rude to the staff saying there was nothing for him to eat, there was actually 4 other options of grilled meat including chicken squewers! Nobody should come to work and be treated poorly, never once did I see a rude staff member even when they have to put up with rude guests. Be kind because we are all humans with feelings! I've really enjoyed my stay here and I want to thank you all for giving me lovely memories with my family.

"Honesty"

6.0

A weeks stay. Alot of negatives and positives to this place so here goes. Check in. Easy and quick. Staff helpful. Downside is if you are disabled they still expect you to pay extra to get a ground floor room. No exceptions. There are no lifts at all in this property. No one to help get cases to rooms which is a nightmare with no lifts. Rooms. For 3 or less room size is ok. Not masses of space to move around and if needing to pull out the sofa bed for a 4th no space to walk around. Beds are comfy but sheets can smell foisty. 1 pillow per bed. Sofa bed was unmade when we arrived so had todo that ourselves. Plus side there are some british tv channels i.e bbc 1, itv and itv 2. Bathroom. Shower lovely. Nice and powerful. Towels are left on the shelving outside of the bathroom. Towels changed daily if dirty ones left on bathroom floor. Balcony is small. There is a washing line. Patio doors block the noise from outside. Pools and sunloungers. If you are not an early riser or willing to be out the door by 6.30am you do not stand a chance of a sunbed. It is downright rediculous never seen anything like it. Worst part people put towels out and are not there all day. The aqua park is locked till 10am. But if you want a sunbed there start queueing at 9.15 or you wont have a hope. Main pool is fab. Not freezing cold either. Plenty of activities during the day for the kids. Will come to the activities later. Splash pad great for kids. Aqua park splash park is baltic. On little ones can go kn the balloon climbing pad. My daughter is 5ft and was refused. Slides. Be careful. Seen lots of people with cuts from them. Entertainment. Lots going on in daily entertainemnt for the whole family. Aqua zumba, aqua aerobics, water polo, white pool party, aqua runner Evening entertainment isnt just on the stage with shows like michael jackson, ariel acrobats etc. There is bingo with great prize pot 2 euro a ticket. Raffle for 5 euro a ticket. There are lots of things to pay for which is where this place becomes a huge money pit for families. Trampolines, bouncy castles, go karts, hair braiding, massages for adults and kids. Prices are 7 euro for 6 mins on trampolines. Dangerous as we seen a child bounce over the edge and the bungee cords flew her back. Suprised she wasnt paralised. Go karts for little ones. 4 euro 3mins. Food. Breakfast. Sausages, beans, eggs, wedges or hash browns, eggs multiple ways, breads, pastries, fresh fruit cereal and yoghurts. Breakfast is the best meal here. Every evening meal is the same. PORK. Pork leg, pork chops, pork loin. Veg. Fish. Mash. Chips. Fruit. Salad. Pasta. Cakes. Smallest selection i have seen for a buffet. Not children orientated. No kids buffet. If you have fussy eaters beware. Snack bar. Same stuff every day. Sausages, nuggets, burgers chips and toasties that were burnt. Snack bar open from 10am to very late. Other restaurant had pizza which was bland. The bar. Upon checkin you will be given a token each to redeem at the bar for a cup. Dont leave your cups. You need them. They will not give you another drink unless you return your cups. Taje them ti your room on a night and then for new drinks next day take them. It is a stupid idea never seen so many people have cups in their handbags. Soft drinks are self serve. Bottles of water at the bar have to be paid for they are not included in all inclusive. 2.70 for a small bottle. If you do want to buy water go to the onsite spar as it is far far cheaper to buy them in there. Location. Now this is a biggy. If you want to be close to shops, bars beach etc this is not the place for you. It is set in a more residential part of sa coma and is a long walk to get to anywhere. The hotel provides a shuttle bus from 10am but thats if you can get on it. It was rammed. No queue. Just people ramming past you to get on it. Taxis can be ordered but again people will just say its their taxi and jump in as room numbers are used so people just say yes and get in. Sa coma Beautiful little resort gorgeous beach. Nice shops. Lovely nature reserve to take as stroll through.

"Brillant hotel"

8.0

We travelled as a group of 11 to this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and clean, we had a 2 bedroom apartment for my family of 6. Situated ideally for us, close to the toddler pool and main pool. Plenty of room for all of us , 2 decent sized bedrooms and a pull out sofa bed. Kettle, microwave and fridge in the room was ideal for our 1 year year olds milk. I found the beds to be comfortable. The bathroom had a toilet, sink, bath and shower. We were second floor and had a small (but big enough) balcony with a lovely view of the toddler and main pool. This hotel has so much to do for kids, huge main pool with a separate toddler pool and kids slide pool. And then at the other side of the hotel the splash park which was amazing. There is a small arcade, the inflatables and trampolines on a night, big inflatable water zorbs on the main pool, one of those long water mats to run across , there’s tennis courts and football pitches. An ice cream shop and 2 shops selling basics and souvenirs. There is 2 main restaurants, a snack bar , 2 bar bars and then a snack bar in the splash park. The drinks were fine, plenty of places to serve yourself ‘on tap’ with fizzy drinks which were branded, Pepsi etc. , tea, coffee and hot chocolate machines, beer taps and wine taps. When we were there the queue for the bar wasn’t too bad was quite long in the night time entertainment but it went down fairly quick. The food- I feel the food lets this hotel down, there is plenty of choice but the food in the restaurants was lukewarm and quite repetitive. The snack bar is great and the food was usually warm here, open all day till midnight I believe. The splash park snack bar we only used once for drinks so can’t really comment. The entertainment we did see was quite poor but that didn’t bother us at all as we made our own entertainment. I believe they have bingo every night too. Location was great for us, about a half hour walk to the town centre, didn’t bother us as we enjoyed the walk or jumped into a taxi for a few euros. I love as coma town centre, plenty there but not too much hustle and bustle. Calla Millor is a bigger town, little further but again not too much in a taxi. We did use the free shuttle road train to the town centre a couple of times which drops you right at the beautiful sandy beach but we only used it a couple of times at it was very popular and got crowded. Overall, We had a brilliant holiday here and would love to return one day.

"Its a 3 start hotel and thats what you get."

6.0

Just returned from a weeks stay, 2 adults and a 12 year old. We arrived and were checked in by a lovely lady on reception who explained the site, gave us a map and explained the qr code for us to view everything that was happening in the resort and what times the bars/restaurants opened. Our room backed onto the splash park, on the 2nd floor. The room was dated but clean and spacious, we had a kettle and a couple of cups but no tea/coffee. Towels were changed and beds made when we left the sign on our door but it didn't appear the room was cleaned, there had been a black mark on the side of our bath for 3 days and not cleaned off. It could be noisy at night when the entertainment was on but it finished at 11 and was quiet afterwards so that was fine for us, may be an issue if you have younger children though. We had lovely weather and the pools were a nice temperature, we spent 2 days at the splashpark, queued from around 9.45 for it opening at 10 as it did get busy as the morning went on. The slides are really good, a good selection for all ages and the lifeguards are really on the ball. My son was disappointed that the bubble pool had a height restriction, though we understand it was for safety of young kids, maybe having time slots so older kids could have a go might be an idea. There was a lot of kids that were a bit too tall to have a turn. Food at the splashpark is nothing fancy. Burgers, hotdogs, chips, chicken nuggets, burgers aren't the nicest and my son wasn't keen on the hotdogs. Theres no deserts there either, the only alcohol served there was beer, which was fine, but a bit too heavy for me after a few. Pop and juice is self service. We took our own cups and had no problems with having them filled. Vodka slush was very refreshing. The main pool was always busy, we quickly realised we had to join in with getting up early to reserve a bed otherwise we weren't getting one. I went down at 6.45 one morning and there was only a handful left. There looked to be a lot of sunbeds but given the size of the hotel, theres not enough for everyone. Although if people actually used them when they had reserved them 🤬 one day there was 3 beds with towels next us and noone appeared until after 3pm, when they took their towels off and disappeared! Another day 10 beds had towels on, noone turned up until after 12pm, even then only 2/3 people came and the rest in dribs and drabs through the afternoon. The poor area was dirty at times but I think the guests should take some responsibility for this and not just the hotel staff. Taking food round the pool despite there being signs up saying not to, and leaving half eaten plates full laid all over. The food is probably what let's the place down the most. Food is served pretty much all day between the 3 restaurants. We thought breakfast was the nicest meal, so much choice. The other meal times were typical AI, but we found the choice quite poor at times and occasionally the food wasn't very hot. Our son loved the nachos and cheese sauce in the grill and some of the meats in there were really nice, definitely our favourite of the 3. The staff couldn't clean quick enough at times, some guests would leave plates full of food, having piled their plates so high and then leaving most of it. The entertainment team work hard, evening entertainment is what you would expect at a 3 star family resort. Some nights were better than others, we didn't struggle at times when the bingo was on, to hear what was being said the tent is large, busy and noisy. You could spend a fortune here with all the extras but its optional. I think for those with younger kids who would want yo use the bouncy castle and trampolines l, along with extra ice creams and drinks etc it would al all add up. We found the shops on site to be good, reasonably priced with a good selection stocked. We used the train from the back once and found it really good, it wasn't chaotic and everyone got on and off without pushing and shoving. Overall, we had a lovely week. I probably wouldn't go back but thats more for wanting to try new places. Its a great place for families with plenty to do.

"Very enjoyable, but need lots spending money."

8.0

Complex is very big containing lots of rooms all different sizes and only 3 stories high, they are very nice and clean and comfortable, we did however have to carry suit cases up stairs as there are no lifts, and as I am 66 and my husband 70 this year it was a challenge, we came as family of ten, there are 3 restaurants which were all ok, always found something to eat, although desserts were same every night, but plenty of fruit on offer although no bananas. There was unfortunately a bug going about which my husband got on third day here, then my granddaughter then my grandson and myself, didn’t affect rest of family, but as there are hundreds of kids there not surprised some were ill especially when kids are handling food then not taking it. Pools are fantastic although we had code brown 3 times while we were there in the baby pool, and shut down for an hour. The splash pool was great for little ones they had a blast. Drinks were ok quite a variety from hot to fizzy to alcoholic. Entertainment was great for kids, they had trampolines, bouncy castles, ride on bikes, games room, all at extra costs, bingo at 9 every night which was 12 euros for six although the winnings were very good, but you could split tickets up and kids could play, They had big sand pitch for playing volleyball and 3 of ours played every night with other kids and loved it, also football pitch. Definitely brilliant place for kids but make sure to take plenty of spending money. All in all kids had a fab time.
