Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort by Marriott

I booked a non–all-inclusive stay, but a week before my trip, I received an email saying the resort would be transitioning to an all-inclusive model. When I checked in, the front desk (Maximiliano) confirmed my package was now all-inclusive, and all outlets on the property treated it as such. However, on the second day, the pool bar said they couldn’t verify our package. We were pulled out of the pool, still wet, and walked to the front desk in a humiliating manner. The same employee admitted their mistake and initially offered to waive the first day's charges, letting us begin paying the all-inclusive rate moving forward. After speaking with management, he reversed this and told us we were responsible for everything—even though it was their error. We were offered only a 20% discount. To avoid more stress and embarrassment, we paid for the all-inclusive package—but were still charged three additional unexplained fees. Beyond the billing issue, the resort was poorly maintained: dirty puddles on the grounds, no pool towels, stained cushions, and disorganized pool furniture. Staff seemed confused and uninterested, and restaurant service was slow and unwelcoming. Worst of all, no manager ever came to speak with us. This experience completely overshadowed our vacation. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Wouldn’t come back to Cabo . Cabo is pretty much like going to Rosarito or Ensenada . Not much to see ! Food in the area is just ok. Can’t compare to real Mexico n puerto Vallarta ! Now that’s a cool place !

Beautiful property and welcoming staff

THE PROPERTY’S BOTH SPAS HEAT/JETS WERE NOT WORKING. THIS IS REALLY AN IMPORTANT ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED. ALSO, PROBABLY NEED MORE SERVERS AT THE POOLSIDE FOR DRINKS AND FOOD.

The staff was outstanding and friendly. The setup and layout of the resort was fantastic. Right next to the beach with plenty of food and drink options. We were totally happy there for a week and would have gladly stayed another week without ever leaving the property.

Beautiful property, gorgeous views and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is delicious! Workout facilities are very nice too.

Are A/C stop working Sunday night we Reported on Monday morning and I was told that someone is going to be there in 5 minutes so we left and we got back at 2 and still not A/C I when back to the office and talk to Iran of the front desk he’s like still not working, I said NOT 30 minutes later Maintenance come over and told me that not one told him about it until now, I was very disappointed because I really like this place…
