"Brilliant hotel, possibly the best we've stayed in - much recommended"

10.0

This is a superb hotel – possibly the best we’ve ever stayed in - and we were really glad we dug a bit deeper to pay for this standard of experience. The staff were professional, friendly, hard-working, and ran a really well-organised operation throughout the place. We hope they are paid well for their work. The facilities are brilliant, including the fact this is part of a cluster of several Protur hotels all in a very close area, meaning some facilities at the others are available to you as well. We enjoyed mini golf over at the Protur Safari, and having an Indian meal at Goa, all part of the all-inclusive package. We also had a go at Aqua Gym and were put through our paces for a full hour, plus I went to the hotel gym a couple of times and the equipment there was decent. The wider location was great – not far from the beautiful beach, plus shops and bars. I have a food allergy, so it was reassuring to see the solid allergen labelling at the all-inclusive buffet, in addition to the menu at Goa, where one of the friendly staff was able to address my questions in relation to potential cross-contamination (whether the pakoras were cooked in the same fryer as the kids’ fish fingers). The entertainment in the evenings was decent, though the amount of people watching seemed to vary quite a bit from night to night. We noticed the air conditioning was possibly set to too powerful, meaning it was noticeably a lot cooler in the bar than the outdoor pool bar area, which may have been why some groups opted for playing cards outside and therefore didn’t watch the acts as much. Lots of families/groups/couples got to know each other and would catch up when they bumped into each other around the hotel - we thought the friendly atmosphere cultivated by the place may have played a part just how many people connected with each other. Little touches help to elevate a hotel to a new level. We have gone all inclusive at other places previously but had never before had it where the mini fridge is stocked with drinks and crisps which you can enjoy as part of this. Going in mid September was a really good time to visit. We got brilliant, warm weather, but also it was clear the hotel wasn’t at capacity as there were very often plenty of free sunbeds and lots of tables to choose from in the restaurant etc. We were in the most basic kind of room but this was still really spacious and with modern, quality facilities. The only improvement would have been an iron and an ironing board. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for a brilliant stay!

"Lovely family holiday, would recommend to people with young families."

10.0

I don’t normally write reviews however always choose my hotel based on trip advisor reviews, hence why I am writing this. Just returned from a package holiday to this hotel with my parents and 2 year old boy. The hotel is lovely, very clean and perfect for a 2 year old. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The cleaners were very attentive and made sure my room was cleaned before 2pm when my son would be having a sleep which was very helpful. Rooms have a do not disturb button on them which is very helpful when having a child. The pool areas were lovely, the splash park is perfect for young children, my little boy loved it. Lots of floats and toys left around the pool for kids to play with too. The little park was just enough and right next to the pool. The food was nice, can’t fault it, just a bit repetitive which can be expected with all inclusive. The fruit and salad were all so fresh. Drinks wise they had premium brands on all inclusive too. We ate in the Italian restaurant one night, this was lovely, really nicely done too. We got a free visit to the animal farm which was at the sister hotel Safari Park, next door. Don’t bother it’s a waste of time, hardly any animals and very barren. They seemed to have spread the animals out to make it look like they had more. All in all a great holiday, would recommend to anyone with young children and I would return.

"Lovely hotel, great adults only area, good pool bar food."

8.0

We booked a last minute holiday with Tui at this hotel. The only room available at the time of booking was a “select twin room” the room we were allocated was on the ground floor and adapted for disabled use, even though we didn’t require this. The perks of the room gave us free towels and our own private terrace with sun beds. Unfortunately the room was very close to reception and also the driveway of the hotel. This meant that when sitting on the terrace there was a regular disturbance of buses dropping off and picking up people, also taxis, all whose engines were left running during the duration. Our terrace was just behind a bit of a hedge so plenty of noise and fumes. We also suffered from noise from the restaurant extractor fan. We were a bit concerned about security as neighbours in the room next door could easily hop over onto our terrace! The terrace had no shade and in the afternoon in 30 degree temperatures it was impossible to manage sitting out, so we spent more time round the pool than on the terrace. Despite this, We did however love the fact that once we went inside the room and closed the patio doors, we couldn’t hear very much noise at all. We never heard the evening entertainment or any noise from fans/restaurants only the faint sound of night time buses!! We were well away from the main pool area so no screaming children and closer to the adults only pool. Also the rooms around us seemed to be empty so we kept the room. I wouldn’t book this type of room again unless I could guarantee one round the back of the hotel near the spa. We loved the fact that the two pool areas were very separate, the adults only pool was very quiet and we spent most of our time here. Food was good, but breakfast wasn’t as good as we expected. we were HB and we enjoyed a couple of lunches in the pool bar and we were very impressed with the quality of the food there and found it a similar price to local restaurants. We tried the Italian restaurant and it was a nice change but we weren’t overly impressed and wouldn’t go again. The hotel is very nice and modern there is mix of older couples and young families, the entertainment was perfect, quiet and subtle not to loud, again when we didn’t want to partake in it it was nice to relax in our room without being able to hear it.

"Wonderful time."

10.0

My wife and I have just returned from a marvellous 11 days at this hotel. The hotel is absolutely spotless constantly being cleaned and maintained. Every single member of staff marvellous, always cheerful and helpful. The best of all, no sun lounger reserving. No matter what time you went to the pool there are always loungers available. We spent our time around the main pool which includes the kiddie pool but this was never a problem, the noise level was fine. There is a totally adult pool are which completely separate from the main pool, we never tried it but apparently it is very quiet. What we did find strange was the poolside toilets had frosted glass in the cubicle doors. We did find that the food was good with something for everyone sometimes it was merely warm rather than hot, but this is a minor point. Would we return? certainly YES.

"Fun Time in Mallorca"

10.0

My wife and I had relaxing couple of days in Mallorca during a 15 day jaunt across Spain and France. The hotel has everything you need. The only draw back or us is that its a very family freindly kids resort. They had a pool just for adults so we relaxed with cocktails and chatted with other couples. The beach was a 15 minute walk and we got to spend the morning there then retreat to the adult pool when the families arrived. We had spectacular dinner at Tomeu Coldentey attached to the hotel. Pricey but great date night. Overall I enjoyed resort next time I will look for their adult only resort. However!! great spot if you have little kids I recommend it.

"A very nice stay"

8.0

Visited this hotel as a group of friends (7 in total). Reception staff were very good at check in considering they had to deal with 4 separate rooms and 4 separate safe bookings, all done with a smile. Rooms were lovely, plenty of room and bathroom great with large walk in shower. The only criticism is the glass panel from the bathroom to the bedroom and the lack of a chest of drawers in the room. The food in the main buffet restaurant was plentiful, very varied, and we always got a lovely meal to suit us all. The highlight of the buffet dining was Paloma who always had our table set in the evening with red/white wine, jugs of iced water and replenished these if required, she went above and beyond, so thank you Paloma. We did try the Italian restaurant but that was not a success, staff were great but the food was awful, so not even one star for that. We attended the adults only pool which was a lovely tranquil space with plenty sun loungers. Bar staff were very attentive and always ready to make you laugh which was nice. Entertainment was a bit mixed, for us the Beatles tribute act was the best. A lovely holiday was had by all, thank you .

The hotel and staff could not be faulted but my room location was the only disappointment. My room overlooked another hotel which was extremely noisy from around 5pm to 11pm. I know this might not annoy a lot of people, but I love sitting on the balcony at night reading a book and resting after a busy day. If if you went in and closed the door the noise was so loud even with the tv on.

"Budget hotel - Avoid!"

4.0

This is a revised review as I wished to clarify a point I made previously. The lack of greeting in the 'canteen' was reference to the waitress in the outdoor area and not the restaurant manager, who was brilliant. Our experience eating in the outside area was appalling. The waitress clearly did not like the English - she would not take drink orders from us, however she did with other nationalities on tables next to us! We remained very polite and courteous in the hope this would shame her...it didn't!! It wasn't a problem in the end as we took a drink with us to dinner from the bar...however! this resulted in no offer of water and lots of slamming of plates and cutlery. This was particularly noticeable, hence my reference to 'canteen'. Most people are pretty tired of inflation and cut backs in the current climate...when you go on holiday and spend over £3k on a 6 night holiday, you don't expect to have to keep the curtains pulled all day because the AC is turned down so low! Also sachets of powdered milk in the room! The drinks for AI guests were of poor quality. We were allocated a room overlooking noisy shops in a separate part of the hotel. We requested an upgrade (happy to pay) ...told to come back before breakfast next day, which we did...then told to come after breakfast...which we did! This became a little tiresome! We were eventually moved to a room in main part of hotel at the end of day two.
