Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel & Spa

A lovely hotel, and staff were very friendly. Food was great, however we did try the Italian restaurant one night and although the settings and staff were nice, the food was not great and lacked flavour. Swimming pool was a great temperature, which was good for our baby. Always plenty of sunbeds and pool bar was easily accessible with a good selection of drinks. One issue we did have was ants in our room. We noticed a couple coming from under the bed and when looking closer there were crumbs under the beds. We did report this and someone came to have a look, sprayed something in one area and left, but the issue still persisted for stay. I do think the housekeeping could have been a bit better as the side tables were also not clean when arriving. We loved the amenities such as the driving range and mini golf. My baby also loved the disco. Perhaps an outdoor stage would be good or a more modern area, as the room in which it was held did feel quite small and dated! Overall we had a nice stay, staff were nice and we made great memories.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Die gute Laune und Freude am Service war IMMER spürbar. Hotel in einem sehr guten Zustang, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das All-Inclusive Buffet sehr umfangreich und auch für mich als Pescetarier gut. Tolle Cocktailauswahl an der Bar. Insgesamt besser als erwartet, gerne wieder!

Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Am Adults Only Pool ist es ruhig und man bekommt auch noch "spät" Liegen. Der Strand ist nur paar Gehminuten entfernt. Das Buffet hat uns auch gut gefallen.

Sehr sauber, sehr tüchtige und freundliche Mitarbeiter, eine sehr gute 4 Sterne Erfahrung.

I was anxious before arriving, the reviews i had read were mixed, & we were travelling as a family for the first time (baby 4 months old). I was put at ease when i arrived at the hotel, reception & rooms are brand new & the reception team were very friendly. We kindly had been accommodated with a ground floor, that i requested prior to arrival. The restaurant/ bar staff are brilliant all friendly & smiling especially the gentleman that checks you in to the restaurant i think he is called Jose. Food is of a good standard & we never had to wait for a drink so for us all inclusive was worth while. We attended the Indian restaurant which was a nice added touch & also went for a walk in the safari hotel you can use there facilities, we didn’t make the most of this having such a small baby but if you had older kids this would definitely be a bonus, we preferred our hotel as it seemed calmer! Sadly i couldn’t use the adults only pool section but this also looked very good. The points for improvement but wouldn’t stop me coming again are the below: *Food needs to be covered in the restaurants some flies floating around * personally i didn’t love the area, its very touristy but we stayed mostly in the hotel due to ease of the new born, however Porto cristo is close we got a bus, it only took 15/20 mins. *The umbrellas do not block the sun out fully luckily we had snuz shades with us *The air con wasn’t working initially an engineer checked ours & that made the room around 21 degrees ( I had a thermometer-due to baby) *the lights in the room are very snazzy but the bathroom lights up the whole room due to a glass partition, i took a night light which i would recommend. *we used the indoor pool when it rained it was freezing!

Sehr schönes Hotel.

Started with room allocation - allocated room over looking noisy shops which was set up for 2 people, even though we paid full price for 3 of us. Smelt dusty and unused with muddy foot prints in bathroom. Requested room upgrade (happy to pay) told to come back tomorrow before breakfast, which we did, to be advised to come back after breakfast....eventually moved to main part of hotel at end of 2nd day. I have to say - all looks new and modern but nothing works well. There is no shade anywhere, thin, static umbrellas by pool making it very difficult to get any shade. Room air conditioning barely works so you end up with room curtains drawn most of the day! If you are English forget being treated with courtesy. Never offered a drink at meal times or greeted, whilst all other nationalities greeted and offered drinks straight away. Wasn't a problem in the end as we went to the bar first and took drinks into restaurant with us; however that resulted in no offer of water and lots of slamming of plates and glasses around us. Canteen staff extremely rude, despite us being very polite in return in order to shame them... didn't work! All inclusive drinks awful - cocktails were very substandard, and selection very limited if AI. If we wanted anice drink we went out of hotel complex, where we enjoyed a lovely drink in a friendly atmosphere, without constant and unnecessary slamming of cutlery and plates! Food average with limited selection, no real healthy choices - salad area very limited to about 4 options each meal time.

Better than I thought room was very spacious , food was good especially lunch .Evening meal and breakfast was very busy . Wouldn't return simply because the resort is full of children , ideal for families but not an elderly couple .

Mencionar que la gente de recepción es bastante desagradable, no dan la información como debe ser y después cuestionan que no te la hayan dado, entre otras cosas que no voy a exponer puesto que no tengo captura de pantalla y no puedo demostrarlo. La limpieza de las habitaciones es bastante justa , cama mal hecha (la sábana bajera siempre arrugada) , pelos en el baño, visitantes … Fuerte olor a comida en el recinto , pongan una campana extractora más potente , uno no tiene que estar comiendo todo el día Cabe destacar la amabilidad de los empleados del bufete, muy atentos y amables. No lo recomendaría
